*Annabeth's POV*

I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock beeping on my nightstand. I feel around blindly for awhile before my hand finally makes contact with the snooze button. I peel open one of my eyes to take a peek at the time, and I groan.

5:01 in the freaking morning.

The last thing I wanna do is get up at this God forsaken hour, but unfortunately, my flight back to London leaves at seven and I can't miss it. Yes, you heard me correctly, it's already January second. Time really flew while I've been here, and I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Louis' flight leaves today as well, at twelve, and since it only takes him a little over three hours to get to London, we'll both be landing at around the same time. We're supposed to meet up at the airport and eat lunch together before heading back to our flats, and I couldn't be more than excited. I've missed Louis so much it nearly hurts, and getting to see him again will definitely make me feel so much better about going back.

I lay here for a little while longer until actually getting up. All I need to do is get dressed and make sure I have everything packed. I won't be coming back home until the end of May or the beginning of June, so I can't afford to leave anything important here.

I grab my clothes that I laid out last night, and go into the bathroom across the hall. I quietly shut the door since everyone is still asleep, and start getting ready.

I pull a pair of light grey sweats over my legs and slip on a plain black t-shirt. I wash my face with some early morning facial cleanser to wake myself up, but it doesn't work very well. I brush my hair out and pull it into a loose ponytail, and I decide not to put on any makeup because I'm just simply too tired. I'd probably poke myself in the eye with my eyeliner or mascara stick...

I brush my teeth and put all of my necessities in plastic bags. I open the door and travel back across the hallway, putting everything into my suitcase and zipping it up for the last time. I slip on my green and black Reebok trainers and carry myself and my things downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen and I'm greeted by my dad, drinking a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper. "Morning, Dad."

He looks up over his glasses and gives me a small smile. "Morning, darling. Everything packed?"

I nod and take out a box of Captain Crunch from the cabinet. I pour it in a small bowl and add some milk, dropping a spoon in with it. I take a seat next to my dad and start eating breakfast while scrolling through things on my phone to waste time.

After I finish my breakfast, I put my bowl and spoon in the sink and put my luggage beside the front door. I check the time and see that it's almost six. It takes about twenty or thirty minutes to get to the airport, depending on how bad traffic is, and I have a lot of things to do once I get there.

"Good morning, Annabeth.."

I turn and look behind me to see Logan rubbing his eyes tiredly. Poor kid stayed up until past midnight playing video games last night. "Hey buddy."

He walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waste. "Do you really have to leave?"

I sigh and nod my head. "Yeah, I do. I have school to finish and softball games to play. I'd stay a little longer if I could, but I can't. I'm sorry, Lo."

He only shakes his head. "It's okay. I get it." He looks down at his feet. "Well, I guess I'll go get dressed then.."

I let him go and he trudges back up the stairs. I watch him until he disappears down the hallway into his bedroom before letting a few tears slip down my cheeks.
