*Louis' POV*

"Hurry up, lads! We need to go!"

I grab my coat and the car keys as I slip on my shoes. It's already four and I'm taking Annabeth out tonight on our first date, so I need to get home to shower, find something to wear, and figure out what we're gunna do tonight. I wanna make this first date absolutely amazing for her to show her how much she really means to me. I've waited so long for this, and I wanna make the most of it.

Harry and Niall eventually make their way to the door and slip on their shoes and jackets, and Liam and Zayn follow shortly after. I give Liam the keys to start the car so I can say goodbye to Annabeth.

She was acting really strange this morning, and I was starting to worry. Annabeth just didn't seem like herself. She was really jumpy and flinching, almost as if she was paranoid about something. I'll have to ask her about it later...

She comes towards me by the door with a small smile on her face. I stretch my arms out to hug her and she doesn't hesitate to fall into me. Her small, yet quite muscular arms from playing softball all her life, wrap around my waist, gently squeezing. I kiss the top of her head.

"We're gunna have a good time tonight, okay? I'll pick you up at seven." I say as I pull away from our embrace.

She smiles and nods her head. "Okay. I'll see ya then!"

We wave to each other as I run out to the car and hop in. She turns away and shuts the door as Liam pulls out of the driveway.

"So Louis... What are your plans for tonight?" Harry asks, wiggling his eyebrows.

I roll my eyes. "Probably not what you're thinking! I actually have no idea though. Any suggestions?"

"You could take her to that new restaurant on Main? It looks nice." Liam suggests.

I shake my head. "That's too fancy. She's not into that kinda thing."

"How about a movie date? That new chick flick is out. What's it called?...eh, I can't remember. She likes those doesn't she?" Niall points out.

I think about it for a second before shaking my head. "She does, but we've already done something like that before. It needs to be better than that."

We all sit in silence for awhile, just thinking.

Zayn snaps his fingers. "I got it!"

I turn around in my seat to face him. "Well then, what is it?"

"How about ice skating? You're pretty good at it. You could go for milkshakes or coffee afterwards as well. It's something simple, but something fun where you can still talk and have a laugh." He explains with a sly smile.

My eyes widen and I almost jump out of my seat to hug him. I refrain, giving him a high five instead with the biggest grin on my face. "You're a genius, mate! That's perfect!"

He grins. "Glad I could help."

A few minutes later, Liam pulls into the driveway at my flat. He looks over to me and pats me on the back. "You've got a date to prepare for, so I figured I'd drop you off first."

I smile thankfully. "Thanks, mate!"

I hop out of the car and wave goodbye to everyone. "See ya later!"

They all wave back, telling me good luck and making sure to mention a few dirty comments (we all know who those were from), making me roll my eyes. I pull my keys out of my pocket as they drive away, and I unlock my door.
