THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Chapter-2

I packed my bag to go to my mom s house. the house of disaster!
I never liked going there.

" savana hurry up! I'm gettin late to work". dad shouted. i heard his phone ringing..AGAIN!
I packed my stuffs and went downstairs. " i'm ready.." i said and walked out. dad got in the car. i got in, put on my headphone and put my hoodie cap on my head, my all time routine.
I turned my music on and closed my eyes. dad started the car. the things that i can think about is the disasters in my mom's house. Marcus is the most annoying thing that i've ever met in my entire life. he keeps on disturbing me. and the other two stylish queens who think that they re the fashioniestas!
hena is the eldest one! the pop of her school. thank god i'm not in her school. i don't want anyone to tell that i'm their sister . it feels gross! of course i've to admit that she's hot! but then.. her attitude wise she's bad! she's not bad but she's worst.
And teena.. god! she's one year younger than me. hena and me..we both are of same age! she hates me and i hate her too.. from the moment when i turned eight.. the moment when i became a part of their family..they started treating like i'm some kind of the cinderella of a modern fairy tale. but let me say i'm not boasting.. but i've got some qualities like courage, guts,fearless from my dad's blood. soo i never give up and never got that bullied.
Thinking about these resources of disasters..i opened my eyes, as i felt like dad was calling me.i turned down the volume. "did you call me?"
"Yes i did.."
I again closed my eyes.
"Savana i need to talk to you about something very important!"
" If it's again about finding new friends or adjusting with the step siblings..i'm not interested dad!"
I turned the volume to medium.
"Ok ok, i know that you are tired of hearing those things.. well it's not about that!"
I said nothing. i kept on listening to music. Suddenly he took of my headphone with his right hand.
I screamed. "dad, i can hear you..there's no need of taking off my headphones"
" I need your full attention!"
" go on..!" i said annoyed.
" Savy..i know how it feels when you don't get the care that you need from your mom. i know it's hard."
" Atlaaastt someone noticed!!!" i said loudly
" Savy i always noticed and cared you.. so don't say that..!"
" If that's what you think then, keep thinking like that dad!"
" Savy..try to unde-"
" Don't make it too long dad just say what you want to say and finish it off!"
" Alright..that..i'm planning to get married...again."
" Whaat! dad tell me that you re not serious..!"
" Savana it's for your good! the thing that's lacking in your life is love and care from a mom! and i do trust that daisy can give you that.."
" You mean your assistant..that lady!! ohh my god! am i out of the world or something??"
" Savana..you really don't know her..she's awesome you'll definitely like her.. if i marry her and-"
"Oh dad!! DON'T YOU DARE!! I know how she is.. and her stupid seducing looks and talks.. and no WONDER that you 've fallen for her-"
"Enough!!" He stopped the car in front of mom's house.
"You can't ever SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!"
I got out of the car and closed the door with a great force. at the same time dad got out of the car and shouted."savana stop! i'm talking to you.. you have to listen to me.."
"i've listened to you for these many years...dad! i ve only listened to you...! You are not doing this for my good but just for you and your life!!! because YOU want it! I'm so sorry that i'm interrupting in yours' and mom's life.. because i've nowhere else to go.."
Suddenly i heard mom coming out of the house "what's going on with you people.."
"You.. please stay out of this.." I said.
" Savana.." mom said
" The thing which is so called 'love and care' that you've been talking about..i expected it from you dad..but..now i realized that i was wrong..i've always been wrong!"
I put on my bag and walked into the house. i heard mom calling me but i ignored.
I walked upstairs and saw marcus. he smiled and said " here comes the daddy's girl.."
"Backoff moron" i said giving a hit on his head.
And when i reached near my room i saw the fashioneistas.
" Aww.. look at our hoodie sister..with a wet face.." hena said.
" Seems like the daddy girl fought with her daddy again.. how sweet!!" Teena said laughing.
I tried to control myself from slapping them together.
" If you both..don't leave me right now..i m so gonna squeeze your faces in my closet hole." I shouted.
"Y..You don't have to sh..shout for that..!!" they both walked away quickley.
I went inside and locked the door. i jumped on my bed and i could feel those tears making the pillow wet. i slowly got up and looked out of the window..

i saw dad leaving.
