CHAPTER- 39

I texted beth...AGAIN.

she didn't reply yet. I know how it feels. But she can't shut me down like this.

I'm feeling weaker. i need someone to console me.
I knocked on roger's door. no response. i opener the door and he was with his headphones with a writing pad and pen on his hands.

" Hey.." he said taking off his headphone.

" Hey..are you busy..?

" Maybe..why?"

I said nothing but just nodded at him about to go to my room.

" You want to talk...! come..sit " he said.

" How do you know.."

He sighed.

" Right...you had a sister" i said.

" Twin sister.." He corrected me.

Yea..Twins can totally understand each other. Even though they are miles apart. But can he understand her now..?

I nodded at him.

I sat down on the floor, supporting my back on the side of the bed. He sat down next to me.

" What's up.."

" Roger..is it really hard to keep a secret?"

" Hmn...maybe..it depends..if it's a small one and it's a no-big-deal thing..then..no... but if it's a big one and if it's something you shouldn't keep as a secret..then it will be hard..really hard " he said.

Yea...like he said..it's really hard.

I could feel him staring at me. I looked at him.

" Are you keeping a secret? "

I don't know what to say..should i tell him?

" That..." I don't feel right.

He raised an eyebrow at me.

" What is it sister?" he said pinching my cheek.

I can't tell him now..what if he acts like beth...what if he thinks that i'm lying so that i can stop them from caring for her? I can't let such a sweet brother to be mad at me.

" It's nothing...mood changes.."

" Ohh.." he said.

I sighed in relief.

" Do you want some chocolates or something...like i can totally understand. Hena used to tell me to bring chocolates for her whenever she have that thing.." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

" What..? oh my god..roger it's..not-"

" It's okay..i totally get it..i know you don't wanna tell me these girly stuffs.."

" But it's-"

" I told you it's fine..next time when you're in need of chocolates just tell me..i'll get it for you.."

" ...grt.!.... i'll..tell you..if i need....choc..chocolates.." i said and walked out of the room as soon us possible.

Now it've turned more complicated. I felt really embarrassed that i got goosebumps thinking about what he said.

" Puzzles of what..?"

" Ask you're eyes...savy" she said with a smile.
