Chapter-17

*ding dong*

The bell rang.
I didn't get out of the room like i'm not a 'first-one-to-open-the-door' person.

" Savy...let's sit in our room..she'll come now!" He said.
His face became so big with excitement. i wonder whether it is true love...anyway..i don't know cause i've never been in love.

I went inside his room. it was too boyish like how we see in movies. But it was tidy.. maybe he cleaned it to impress his girlfriend.
I went and sat on the bed. some maths question papers were there in the bed. i went through it.

" savy..here she is.." roger came in. she was standing at the back. so couldn't see her face.

" Ohh..." i said.

" Haiii...sisteer!!!" she shouted and came in front.

" Heeeeyyy-vow! Hena?" I asked.

" Savana?!" she asked.
That was one of the worst moments in my life. i don't know why my life is getting so complicated. It's like no...one but her!

" What! are you! doing here...!" she asked. she walked near roger by stamping her feet on the ground. " Roger! what is she doing here?!" she shouted.

" Do you know her..?!" he asked...
Here we goo!!
" She's my step sister...!" They both said together.

" What?!" they again shouted together.

" This is going interesting...!" i said myself.
my life is really adventurous!!
" How come she's your step sister?!" Hena shouted.

"Vow..voww...! You guyss...don't fight! i'll explain it!" i said and stood between them and adjusted my hoodie. " Hena 's dad married my mom and my dad married your mom! interesting right!"

" Wait....does..does that mean me and roger...is connected...like sibling-"

" Nooowaaayyy...." Roger shouted.

" Aaaarrggh you people are shouting alot!" I said." i don't have time to waste for such stupid discussions...!!!"

So he's the roger that she ve been talking about haan. God why are you doing this?

They both looked at each other...annoyed.
I went and sat on the chair near the round table with three chairs. They stood staring at each other.

I turned and said. " are you people gonna stand just like that..!"

They both looked at each other in a weird way...and came sat on my left and right.

I took the question paper and start reading it.
The room was soo silent that i could hear three of us breathing..

" How could you not tell about her?!" hena said.

" I didn't know that..,she was your step sister!!!" roger said.

" I didn't because what if you fall for her like in movies.....DA!" she said.

" Whaat?!" i said.

" C'mon hena...don't be soo stupid! if you told about her before...i' would never force mom to get married with him...!!" He said.

" But hena..that's ridiculous...we will never do that...especiallyy with.....HIM!" i said.

"YOU..don't get involve with this..cause you already messed it up!" she said.

" Henaaaa!!! you can't be angry with her for that!" he said.
Uff!! he's good!

" awwww....how sweet! You're supporting your step sister!!! the stupid...dumb! step sisterr!!!" she shouted.

Vow!! Did she call me that!

" God! why don't she get it!!" he said staring at the floor.

" yeaa...you can have alot of excuses as they are already married!" she shouted.

" how can girls be sooo irritating!!!" he said.

" Go on!!! blame it on me...! that is the easiest way to escape haan!" she said.

" YOU BOTH! hold on a second..." i took my writing pad and the question papers. " you know...you guyss....better sit here...and solve the problem..and come to me..i'll be in my room........." they both looked away so that they wont have eye contact. " ....sitting..jobless!! as usual!!" i continued.

I saw hena wiping her tears...and roger kept staring at the floor looking sad. they reaaally seemed sad.
do they love each other so deep that they have to fight the entire day to forget the pain?
And the last three words which came from roger's mouth... " I really love you...hena..." just gave me a thirty second goosebumps.. is it called love?! for the first time...i felt something mysterious in my heart giving a big weight to my throught...
Hena kept crying and roger went and gave a hug... A little painful smile covered my face. they seemed to love each other.. and just because of me as a sister...there love has come to an end..they are suppose to be siblings from now on...
I couldn't stand watching them showing their love through hugs and tears. i walked back to my room. i crawled on my bed...feeling like i've dome something wrong... ' Am i the only reason that they can't be together?...' this questioned was eating my head.
After sometime...thinking about it...i realized that somehow or the other...i'm the only reason for everything.. that was the first thing that went wrong because of me....the first black mark in my life.

I felt like a lost puppy...who doesn't know what to do but just crawling aside on my bed. i checked the time and it was 10:30 already...i walked out of the room, peeping to roger's room...i guess hena went back.
i knocked on his door but he didn't open. i tried to open and the door was already open.
"roger?!" I called him but there was no response. I walked out of the room looking everywhere..adjusting my hoodie. Suddenly i saw a small light from upstairs..from the second floor. I was curious to know where this light is coming from...i walked upstairs...the light was coming from a room...and i heard roger talking.
