THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Chapter-6

Next day after school i went to my dad's house. he was not there. so i went to his company. there i saw him with daisy. they were discussing something. so i knock the door. dad looked at me. " savvy.. wh..why are you here? aren't you suppose to be in your mom's house today.?" he said. daisy was looking at me with a smile.
I ignored her.
" yeah.. i just came to see you.." I said.
" Why..is there any problem again??" he said.
" Not today.." i said.
Till that he had a did-you-cause-another-problem face! but now his face turned like he was worried.
" Dad..i just wanted to talk to you about something.." i said.
He was leaning on his chair and he stood up straight.
" What is it?" he asked.
I looked at daisy. ofcourse she have to get the hell out of the room when a daddy daughter conversation is going on!
" Oh..i'm sorry..you guys carry on i 'll wait outside." daisy said and walked out of the room.Dad looked at daisy. he looked like he really liked her.
" She's good looking right?" Dad said.
I looked down. not answering.
" Forget it.. tell me what do you wanna talk about?" he said.
" Dad..i am..i am really sorry for causing trouble for you..like always..!!"
I said.he leaned back.

" It's not a big thing savana. it's my responsibility...to take care of your problems.." dad said.

" Dad you don't have to lie! i know how hard it is for you..so..i thought that.....besides..taking care of my problems! maybe you should live a life! too like how you wanted it to be.." i said.
He leaned forward and his face was full of doubts.
" What do you mean..?" he said.
" Like..maybe you should marry daisy..!" i said.
" Savy..are you serious?"
I sighed and said " i am....maybe she's good looking..like you said."
" Hmm..thank you savy.. and i promise you that...she'll be a good mother "
" Daddy...you should realize that i told you to marry her because you liked her....it doesn't mean that i like her or i can accept her as my mom..!!" i said.
He sighed and looked down. he got and came near me.
" Sweetie..i know how hard it has been for you..like-"
" It doesn't matter dad.. and it never mattered!!" i said and went out of the office.
Daisy was on the way to his office busy looking at some papers. well...she was good looking and looked young. she saw me in a sight . "oh you're already leaving?".
I ignored her. yeaah ignoring is one of the best things that i've ever done in my life.
When i reached home, mom was sitting there with a worried face. when i entered, she looked at me and walked faster.
" Savana where were you..!" she asked. i kept on walking.
"I'm asking you..!"

" I was with dad! why..? do you care!" i said.
" Alright! you can be with your dad..but atleast give a call to let me know that you're with him!"
" Should i always ask your permission to see my dad?! i felt like meeting him so i went to see him." i shouted.
" all these years..all you cared about was your dad and you hated me to the most. you gotta explain me what did i do wrong...!!! getting married again? or starting a new life??!..." she said. i saw tears coming down her face. " Savana..as your mom..i too have feelings and it hurts me to the most that my own daughter ignore and hate me..sometimes you make me feel like i should go kill myself...it hurts sweetie.. it really hurts!"

Even though i hated her all these years i could never stand watching her cry..i looked down and walked to my room.i could hear my mom crying. it almost teared me into two parts.

After a shower i took my books out to do my homework. but my mind was filled with my mom's tears and her words. on the other side i felt annoyed thinking about being a part of daisy and her family. i put on my headphones and closed my eyes to relax myself. suddenly hena came in and asked.
" Do you have waxing pads?"
" Hena how many times i told you not to come in my room without knoc-"
" Do you have or not?!"
" Ohh your asking the hootie girl for help!"
"I don't have time to fight you bitch!!"
" Then better get lost i don't have any of your waxing pads!!"
" What kinda girl are you without waxing pads!! omg what am i gonna do when i meet roger?"
" Did you break up with Tony too.."
" He was a phsyco though!"
" Who is the new guy anyway!!"
"None of your buisness!!"
" Ohh so better get out of my room or i'll kick you so badly!!" i said.
" Aaarrrgghh!!" Hena said and went.
