CHAPTER-44

My heart bet faster.

" I love you..i love you so much and i mean it."
Another tear dropped out of my eye. He wiped it out gently while i closed my eyes.

" How much...did i wait..to hear these words from you Idiot!" i said.

He smiled and brushed my cheek with his hand. His forehead touched mine. I sobbed and we both laughed.
I opened my eyes to look at him. Without giving me a chance to look at him he kissed me and i kissed him back. My hand on the back of his neck while his on my face.
I pulled myself back.
He looked at me with a confused look. i sat straight and took the magazine on the side table.
He sat on the sofa,next to me.

" Um..any probs?" He asked.

" I think....distance keeps us CLOSER!" i said and flipped the pages of the magazine.

He raised an eyebrow at me. I hold my laugh.

" really?" He asked.

" Mhmm.!!" i nodded.

He moved closer to me. I gave a questioned look.

" Well...there's no distance between us right now.." he said taking the magazine from my hand and putting it back to where it was. "...and we're close enough..." he said leaning and keeping his both hands on both sides blocking me from moving

" umm...sooo?" i asked.

" Sooooooo...." He said leaning forward. I raised an eyebrow at him.
he kissed me again, i can feel his body weight on me as we are almost laying on the sofa. Okay ALMOST laying on the sofa. Don't think too much.

" Savana..are you-" i heard beth's voice. i pushed luke from me and sat straight.

" Beth.." i said with a weird embarrassing smile. Roger came in now.

" Ouch! that really hurts.." luke said rubbing his shoulder. he looked at me and then at her. "Oh-oh!" he said. " Are we in trouble..?" he whispered.

" savana...what...just happened!!" beth said.

God!! the stage thing...she's gonna dig a hole on my head.

" beth..i'm sorry..i messed up on the stage.." I said feeling bad.

" No..i mean what just happened now.."

" Why are you even sitting like that.." roger asked.

Now i noticed luke's one leg is on my lap and he's almost laying on the sofa..don't get me wrong..! he's in this position cause i pushed him.

He sat straight and rubbed the back of his neck.

" We...we're.." he said.

" You know.." i said.

" Just...talking and.." He said.

" Yea..just talking.." I said

" You know..kind of like...about..okay this is awkward" he said.

" I'm sure i saw something more than a TALK!" she said.

I saw luke rubbing his chin slowly turning to me with a we're-screwed look.

" Did you guyzz..got back together?" Roger asked.

" Um..." i looked at luke. he looked at me.
My words doesn't come out. My hands shivered. I could feel Luke staring at me. He sighed and interlocked his fingers with mine.

" Yes..we did" he said confidently. I looked at him. He looks like he's ready to face everything for a moment. He smiled at me.

" Are you guys serious?" beth asked.
