THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

Chapter-8

After school, daisy told she'd take me to dad! as i got expelled and ofcourse he should know that. As we drove,she stopped in front of a coffee shop and got out. "why are we here?!" i asked
" I'll tell you, first let's go in!" she said smiling.
I sighed and got out.
We entered the coffee shop and the shop itself was so refreshing. the window sides were filled with small plants and bushes.
We sat near the window side. i enjoyed the view from there. i noticed that she was staring at me.
" Why are we here..?!" i asked.
" Cause i have something to talk to you."daisy said.
" Well..i don't have anything to talk to you.." i said. i got up fixing my hoodie.
"It's about your dad too.." She said.
I sat down and asked.
" What is it?!" i asked.
"That..this saturday is our marriage." she said.
" WHAT!" I said.
" Yea..it was planned before..it's my elder son's birthday so we planned to make all our celebrations together!"
She said.
"But dad never told me this..!" i said.
" He was about to take you to a dinner today! but..as he heard a call from school about your fight..he told me to tell you this..." she said. i looked down.

i couldn't blame my dad because i'm expelled from my school and he has the right to show his anger.
" I know your angry with him now..but you should realize how much your dad love you and care for you..from the moment we started our relationship all he talked about was you and your future!! You got the best dad ever!"
She said.
For a moment i felt like i was something important in this world.
The problem was that i never try to understand him.
" Today i'll take you to one of the most amazing gown shops on this city, cause i want you to be my bridesmaid!" she said.

"Wait..who me?! I can't be your bridesmaid! like..i don't even wear gowns!" I said.

" You don't but you can!! your dad told me to take you to the most expensive one!!" she said.

" Tell me he's not serious!! i don't wear such kind of dresses!!" i said.

" Atleast for your dad savvy.. he'll be soo happy if you look really beautiful in our wedding!!" she said.

Maybe she was right.. atleast once,i should make my dad feel happy about myself!
"Alright..but i've to reach home early!!" i said.
" Don't worry about that..i've talked to your mom about it!!" she said. "so let's go shopping!!! after a cup of coffee!!"

After having coffee we went straight to the gown shop. i was surprised seeing the gowns. trust me i ve never seen these type of gowns in my entire life.
When we entered, a very well dressed woman was standing there.
"Mrs ray..can you show as our bridesmaids dress..?!" daisy said.

" Why not..?!" she said and went.
" You 've already selected my dress ?!" i asked.
" all the bridesmaid have the same dress..but for you its special!!" she said smiling.

" Why..me?! like bridesmaid should have the same dress!" I said.
" Because you have extra consideration from me as your my daughter!!" she said.

" You don't have kids?!' I asked.

" I've but all of them are boyss..!!" she said.

"Ohh..". i said.
Mrs. ray came in with a dress which is covered and she ordered another women to take my measures.
" Can you remove your hoodie? please..!" the measuring women said.
That was the horrible part since ten i've been wearing hoodies when i go out and now she's telling me to remove it! that's not possible.
" No need.. you can take my measures with my hoodie on.." I said.
" But it's not possible to get the correct measure..!!" She said.
" C'mon don't be shy..thousands of women come here for gowns and they don't care about their body at all!" mrs. ray said.
" C'mon savvy..!" daisy said.
" This is like craap" i said myself removing my hoodie.
" You have a very skinny body...!!" daisy said.
That was seriously embarrassing.
She went to take a dress of my size.
I felt so naked even though i was wearing a simple top and skinny jeans.
" Found it!!" She said with excitement.
Trust me i'm not interested in this bridesmaid thing or the gown.
" Go on savvy..try it!" daisy said.
"There's no need of trying it on..!!" i said.
" You have to...let's see how good it looks on you..!!" she said.
" Aaaarrgghhh!!!" i snatched and walked to the changing room.
It was fit. and i never tried to somewhere something like this and it shows of my legs too much.
I walked out wearing it. whenever i walked i pulled my dress down.
" It's short!" i said.
They all looked at me giving a hot-girl look.
" That's enough i'm done with this dress!!!!!" i said walking back.
" Waaiitt!! don't go!! savvy i can't explain you how awesome you look on this dress!!" daisy said.
" Yeaa yeaa whatever!" i said rolling my eyes.
My dress color was a dark purple thin sleeve short dress. it makes me look so noticeable as it's an open dress almost showing off every parts of my body... when all i want is to be invisible in this world.
" I ve a perfect pair of shoes for you..,!!" the measuring women said soo excited.
She ran with her heels. and trust me it was so damn funny to see her running like that.
She brought a black glittery shoes for me. it almost made my eyes come out.
" Woaahh!!! you guyzz should realize that it's not my wedding.. okay!" I said stepping back.
" This dress is not for wedding time sweetie!!" mrs. ray said.
" Then...?!" i looked at daisy.
" Ahmm..this dress is for my son's birthday party.. and it's kind of a teenager's thing so you know..attractive the best right!" daisy said.
" Damn!! nowayyy!!! i'm not going for any party...!!" i said.
" This is a great chance to get connected with your step brother..especially rogy! the eldest one!" she said.
" WHYYYY!!" I asked.
" He's your age!! and you guys being sister and brother will be so much fun.!! And trust me Your daddy have the best ideas ever!! " She said.
" Dad's idea?! it was him who planned it?! how can he!!" i said.
" Savvy.. it's better listening to your dad this time as you got expelled...atleast it'll calm him down..." daisy said.
Daisy has the power to make me calm down and listen to her. Because now, i've no plans of saying something against her but just listen to what she said.
"I'll do whatever it is..!!" i said.
" Ofcourse..cause i know you can never hurt your dad.." she said.
I looked into the mirror and looked myself and said myself!
" Yea..i can never hurt him!"
