CHAPTER-40

I was already late. I told roger to leave first so that i could take some more time to sleep and now i'm so screwed.

Daisy drove faster. Maybe she know how it feels cause that happens a lot in her life. Dad..as always, is so punctual and will reach anywhere at the right time. And that's how i ended up in daisy's car.

I got out as soon as we reached our school.

" Be careful..love you.." Daisy said.

I smiled at her and walked faster.

I don't know but my heart didn't feel like replying a love you too..or stuff like that. That made me realize that the old savana is still inside me..that arrogant girl. But at the same time it made me think whether she misses her daughter. More than roger..more than Luke..more than anyone..she's the one who should be effected, who has to be effected.

I opened the club room as fast as i can. But it looked as if i opened the door at their faces;i opened it hard. Everyone looked startled.

As i opened, Chang threw a book up, almost falling down from his chair.

" God!!!! Savy you scared me!! Phew!" he said.

He must've been reading something really scary.

" Where-the-hell-were-you??? " Beth asked.

" I woke up late..sorry.." i said and walked in.

Roger and Luke wasn't there. Others looked as if they came here at 3:00 am.

Luke and roger came inside.

" thank god! you're here!" roger said. " i told you to come with me! "

" Sorrryyy...." I said again. Luke looked at me. i smiled at him. He smiled back.

Well..that's the only thing that happens now..

" Anyway...let's get into the main part " beth said and Chang led out a big beat on the drum.

We all turned to him.

" Just wanted to give a punch!" he said smiling. i could barely see his eyes.

" So which song are we gonna perform?" I asked.

" Well...well!! it's romeo and juliet..so me and roger thought of taking something really cozy and romantic...!! " she said walking with her writing pad and pen all the way to roger.

I glanced at luke. he glanced at me too. AWKWARD. i never wanted to give that boyfriend-girlfriend look..cause i didn't want him to feel uncomfortable and now these idiots are gonna make it terrible.

" So we'll do love story by Taylor swift!! it's a total romeo..Juliet thing!" Roger said.

We all nodded.

" As it is a performance thingy...in between both singers will get to do a little dance moves and yea..get ready with your acting skills too...cause that's how we're bring up-" roger started

" Romeo and julietaaa!!!" Zac got up and shouted in a spanish tone.

Everyone blinked at him.

"..That thing! " Roger said.

" So here's the lyrics..." beth said giving me and Luke each paper.

I looked through it. The lyrics looks fine. And the lyrics contained our characters name too. 'Romeo and Juliet'. Hmn..good.
