CHAPTER-33

I packed my bag and went down stairs.

I saw my sisters having their breakfast.

" morning daddy girl!" Teena said taking a bite of her toast.

I smiled and rolled my eyes in disgust.

I took the peanut butter bottle and someone ringed the bell.

" Who's so early?" mom said looking at us.

We all shrugged together. now we look like sisters. yew!

Then she walked to the door and opened.

" Good morning mrs gailes!" said a smiling face.
I moved my head to the side to see who's it and my eyes popped out seeing Luke here.

" Good morning..." she said and looked at him from tip to toe. " do i know you?"

" Probably not!" He said with a smile.

" Noel..i guess he came to see me" Teena said to my mom,checking her cellphone.

Go die! he's my boyfriend.

" No i actually...came to see savy..i thought of driving her to school." he said.

Mom blinked her eyes twice.

" Oh..by the way i'm Luke. Savy's boyfriend" he said.

Everyone turned to me including Gailes who walked in now. i stared at Luke not knowing what to say .He smiled,winking at me.

" Boy-boyfriend?" My mom asked pointing him then looking at me.

She then give a questioned look and i smiled bitterly at her.

" Ohh...come in" Gailes said.

Why is he being so nice. he should shout at me. Trying to act like a cool dad.

He walked in and moved his lips saying "good morning" at me.
I smiled. my lips in a straight line i.e not actually smiling.
I saw Teena 's jaw dropped.

" Ammm...you wanna have some breakfast?" Mom asked.

" No thanks..maybe next time"

" Luke..we'll be late..let's go" i said and grabbed his hand walking to the door.

" Savy..wait-"

" Mom! i'll explain later..i promise" i said and she nodded.

We walked out of the door heading to his car.

" You're mom is really pretty" he said.

" Really? then go date her!" i said opening the passenger seat door.

He kept his hand on the door blocking.

" Hey..what's up with the angry face?" He asked leaning to see my face.

" How can you come like that without telling me?"

" that's what you call a surprise!"

" Surprise..my foot! when i saw you i nearly got a heart attack" i said sighing deeply.

" Okay okay! i'm sorry" he said.

" Whatever.." i said folding arms to my chest.

" Hmn.." he said.
Silence spread between us. i looked at him and he was staring at me smiling.
My cheeks turned red. He leaned forward. he's leaningg forward...!!!
He leaned until his lips were inches away from mine. i kept my hand on his lips. he raised an eyebrow.

He took my hand from his lips and asked.

" Why distance?"

" Distances keeps us closer!" i whispered in a dramatic way almost in a british slang and winked at him.
