He cares

Bella had to throw a party, Luke thought.

She's the same person. She loved to party. She loved to get dressed and dance on tables.

Because that's what she is doing right now.

Bella was wearing a short red leather skirt, with a white crop top and black heels. She slayed the outfit.

She looked beautiful, even hot. Everyone was staring at her. She was standing on top of a table, dancing to music she never heard before.

Bella felt free for the first time in so long. She didn't care about anyone in the party. She closed her eyes and moved her hips to the beat.

Her arms were high in the air, and she was moving her head to the sides, which made her dark hair fly in all directions with each move.

She didn't have a single drop of alcohol. That was just her.

She was having fun in her party.

The party everyone attended. Literally. Every single person at their school was there.

Some watched Bella dance and wished to be as confident as she is. Some were here to drink and get laid. And some were there just to gossip and have some drama.

It was a typical high school party.

But only one person who watched Bella wasn't smiling and having fun. Luke, he was leaning on the kitchen island and watching Bella doing what she's doing.

Only because he wanted to keep an eye on her.

The truth be told, Luke didn't want to come to this party. He hated their last hangout at Ashton's and didn't want any more drama, so attending a party Bella threw was the last thing he wanted.

But he didn't have much of a choice. Ashton begged him to come, just so he could keep an eye on Bella.

Like everyone else. They were all supposed to do so. But not like they listened to Ashton.

Kate was long gone to somewhere around this party. Calum was playing beer pong just to empress Kate, who wasn't watching.

Ashton was dancing near Bella, he was obviously keeping an eye on her but also having fun.

And Michael. He was standing at a safe distance, holding a red solo cup and watching Bella sway to the beat. He had a smirk on his face.

But if you knew him well enough, you'll know it's an admiring smile.

And no one noticed that except the one with the ocean blue eyes. He knew that smile all too well.

Luke felt like he's unimportant. Why would he be here when Michael is there watching Bella?

He can keep an eye on her, while Luke sets alone and wonders why he exits for the millionth time this day.

Luke rolled his eyes when Michael screamed something like 'go Bells!' and made his way to the second floor.

Where it was more quiet and empty. Too empty actually. There was no one there. And music wasn't too loud. Luke liked how quiet it was.

He walked around the second floor and his eyes landed on that door. Her bedroom door.

He slowly walked towards the tall grey door and put his pale cold hand on the door's handle.

He wasn't sure if he should enter, but he did anyway.

Luke pushed the door open and walked inside Bella's room.

It was the same. Grey walls, pink and grey pillows, pink fluffy blanket. Everything was the same. Even her slipper was next to her bed.
