I Hate You

Connecting the dots to something that seemed so obvious didn't only make Bella feel stupid but also question everything that has happened between her and Luke ever since she woke up with amnesia.

Laying on her bed on a Wednesday night, while eating tons of unhealthy snacks and thinking about those past two or three months she's lived.

Every single word, look, glance and even action crossed Bella's mind. From the very beginning, when his cold blue eyes met hers, to the hurt in them just that afternoon when he told her the truth.

Bella couldn't wrap her head around many things; his mood swings and the sudden change in actions, like the way he could yell at her and scream in her face one minute then follow her to an abandoned park to make sure she's fine.

His worry about Bella didn't go unnoticed, she always wondered how he could possibly hate her so much then worry about her like she's his everything.

It mostly confused Bella how he could hate and treat someone he dated - or in his own words, his first love- like this. If she really was his first love, then why all the hate?

They couldn't have possibly dated with this version of Luke being around. Because somewhere in the back of Bella's head, she remembers a completely different Luke.

A soft one, a caring one. That would have been someone Bella dated, not this angry confusing hot teenager.

Bella let out a sigh, thinking that maybe they had a rough break up and they ended on bad terms. That seemed convincing enough for her.

" it was obvious you idiot " Bella mumbled to herself, shoving a spoonful of vanilla ice cream into her mouth.

" we were never friends, we have always been more than that, blah blah blah " Bella mocked Luke, shaking her head and eating some more ice cream.

" Bella? " Mrs. Marshall called from outside Bella's room. She knocked softly on the door but Bella was too busy mocking Luke.

" um.. yes, coming " she said, then put the huge ice cream bowl on her night stand and walked to open the door.

" hey, why was it locked? " her mom asked, walking into her room and taking a seat on her bed. " and why are you eating these unhealthy food? " she asked when she noticed the amount of the unhealthy snacks Bella had on her bed.

" just.. nothing " Bella shook her head. " I didn't know you were home " she commented, taking a seat next to her mom.

" I was in the kitchen when you came looking like you were canceled for life, what happened? " Mrs. Marshall told her, remembering her daughter slamming the door shut and heading to her room with a loud scream just after leaving Luke's house.

" nothing " she shrugged. Yeah nothing.

" nothing? " Mrs. Marshall raised an eyebrow. " do I look 5? "

" no mom, " Bella rolled her blue eyes and laid her back on the bed.

" okay? Tell me " her mom groaned. " you know you can trust me, this is a judgmental free zone, I'm not going to judge you "

Bella sighed and stared at the ceiling for a second before telling her mom what has been bothering her since she came home.

" I don't know where to start from, " Bella sighed again.

" start from someone tall and blonde " her mom wiggled her eyebrows teasingly.

" on a normal day, I'd think you're talking about McDonald's fries but since he's the reason I'm bothered I can't help but get it " Bella rolled her eyes, letting out an annoyed groan.
