Meet Cute
The ocean. It's so deep. Dark. Scary.
But his eyes weren't the same, they were a peaceful ocean, a safe ocean, a comforting ocean.
They were a deep blue, if you stare at them long enough, you might drown.
Yet, she wasn't scared to drown in his ocean blue eyes. She felt safe inside his eyes, she felt like she belonged in the sea of his blue eyes.
Bella opened her eyes and got up, she sat cross legged on her bed, as she tried to figure something out.
Why was she seeing his eyes?
She closed her eyes slowly and saw a deep blue pair of eyes staring at her. It wasn't the same pair of eyes that had a cold look. They had a warm and mild look.
The same look she remembered on Thursday night.
Bella let out a deep sigh and decided to go to sleep, she had a long school day ahead of her.
-
Bella's Monday was, again, one of the longest and most boring days in her week. She was obviously greeted with many eyes staring at her, and a cold annoying Luke.
Luke stopped walking Bella to classes for a week now, maybe more, and Bella was glad.
However, what made her see him everyday and forced her to talk to him was their classes together. They were mostly partners in each subject.
So Bella had to talk to Luke and interact with him for the sake of her grades, and Luke wasn't helping.
He was cold and rude, which mostly annoyed Bella, but recently she wasn't complaining.
Bella wanted to break Luke's walls since she met him. It was hard at first but she got used to it. She learned that in order to ask Luke what time is it, she'll receive a 'shut up' and an eye roll, then ten minutes later he'll answer her.
Now, Bella wanted to get closer to Luke even more. She thought he might be mysterious. She wanted to know him.
But most importantly, she wanted to know if they were friends. Why he cared about her and now he changed.
Ashton's answer didn't convince Bella. They had to be friends. So why did he lie? Why did Luke change?
Those were the things Bella wanted to know.
So that's why she wasn't complaining anymore whenever Luke rolled his eyes at her or said something mean, even if he snapped at her.
Things take time and Bella believed that breaking Luke's walls will take time. Maybe too much time.
" today we are going to talk about impressions " Ms. Langford said, walking back and forth.
Bella was in her English class, setting in the middle of the class and listening carefully to her teacher. She liked this subject and wanted to get good grades at it.
" I want you to work with whoever is setting next to you, aka your partner " Ms. Langford said, which made someone roll his ocean blue eyes.
Luke was in English class as well. He loved this subject too. And he was setting next to Bella.
" I want you to write about how you met your partner, and your first impression on them " Ms. Langford continued.
For Bella, this was hard because A) she doesn't remember how she actually met Luke, and B) she had a very bad impression on him.
She was afraid this might affect her grade, and Luke's. So she raised her hand to ask Ms. Langford about her issue.
" yes Bella do you have any questions? " Ms. Langford questioned when she saw Bella's hand. Everyone stared at Bella. They maybe thought this was nothing hard and she shouldn't have any questions.
