Dream's the villain. Right? (Updating)

Chapter 5

Dream's POV

Raven and I sat there until sunrise, we can't sleep anymore. Memories of the past plague or dreams, making us venerable to everything. Raven has it worse then me, every tie she kills someone their spirt stays with her tormenting her with their screams, me I just get nightmares that cause me to lose control and kill anything in sight. Death is more humane then this.

I had a feeling this morning, it wasn't a good one. It made my stomach churn, wanting me to close my eyes and just disappear from the reality of our world. Raven retracted her wing, standing up. "We should head inside for breakfast this morning." I watch her jump down from the roof, I let out a heavy sigh before standing up and following Raven, landing gracefully on the porch in front of the door. 

I heard shuffling inside the cottage, walking in I was greeted with Phil's cooking and a smile from Techno and Raven. I looked around for Tommy, he wasn't in sight so I decided to let my guard down slightly, "Good morning Techno, Phil" "Morning Dream." "Hey homeless man" "I'm not homeless Pig, I have a base that's far away from here." "Surrre" I sat next to Raven, Phil brought over breakfast, called for Tommy then sat next to Techno. We started to eat, Tommy soon joined us, throwing me a slight glare but only leaving it at that. He didn't even acknowledged Raven. "What do you guy's plan on doing today?" Phil asked Raven and I. "I was thinking that today we should check for any remaining Dreamon's in the area. Phil and Raven, you two could take the air flying ahead. Techno and I will take the ground. Tommy...I don't know what your going to be doing." 

Everyone was nodding their heads, everyone except Tommy, "I have a question." I let out a silent sigh, Raven nudged my side. Taking a deep breath I nodded my head to give him the go ahead, "Do you have anything like-another side other then Nightmare?" I widened my eyes, I have one other persona but, I can't control him. "Do you know what Nightmare is?" He shook his head. "Nightmare is my Dreamon, he is still apart of me. Those other ones that are big scary monsters are the Dreamons of the dead, wanting revenge on humanity because they felt they were wronged.  I haven't died so my Dreamon is still apart of me, Nightmare is my only Dreamon. I don't have any other sides." Tommy nodded at my explanation. After finishing breakfast the 5 of us went outside to check for any remaining Dreamons. Phil and Raven took off, in one direction, we walked in the other.

After an hour we walked about half the perimeter, Tommy kept complaining, Techno and I ignored him engrossed in our own conversation. Our peaceful walk was interrupted by a piercing, gutting shriek. It wasn't demonic like a Dreamon but human. The first thought that came to mind was Raven. Without waiting for anyone else I bolted towards the shriek, running as fast as my legs could carry me I arrived in 15 minutes to see Philza fighting, Sam, HBomb, Punz, George and Antfrost. Sapnap and Big Q were by Ravens body, her wings were pinned down by arrows making them immobile and crimson. There were some ropes arond her feet and wrists stopping her from fighting. Phil was slightly bruised and trying to get to Raven, the 5 people were forming a wall between them. I heard a crack and another scream from Raven, her wing was limp on the ground, a slight mud boot print on the feathers. 

Techno was holding me back from attacking them, "Tommy go help her you idiot!!" Techno yelled out, some people cast a glance towards us. Fundy and Purpled arrived and blocked Tommy from getting in. I started to plead, screaming "No No NO NO NO NO NONONO LEAVE HER ALONE" I didn't even have time to control my emotions before turning into Nightmare, I sliced Techno on his arm, making him bleed. He ignored it, holding me back, I took my mask off when we were walking, everyone watched me with terror on their faces.

Raven's POV

Dreams eyes were glowing red and there were black veins coming out of his neck, he looked at me before using a spell calling a creature to me. Dream passed out, my eyes widened at the words Dream said, "No, Dream..."my vision was blacking out, everyone else heard the deafening shrill coming from the forest and turned their attention to the sound. The pain is too much, I can't stay awake...Who's touching me? I feel more freedom in my body...It hurt's, everything hurt's...Help please...save me from this pain.

"Raven...Raven you need to wake up, you have to call it off." I heard someone say, I opened up my eyes to a blurry figure-Phil? I opened my eyes up more, getting a better view of what's happening. "Help me stand..." My voice was more horse and dry, He was supporting my weight, helping me stand. I spoke in a forgotten language, 'I'm ok, please go back home. They have done nothing wrong.' It stopped attacking the group, looking back at me. I made eye contact with it, I could feel my grip on reality slipping, not yet. The creature moved slowly back to the shadows, fading into them. I turned over to look back at Dream who was just regaining conscious. The world turned dark again. 

The last thing I saw was Dreams red eyes.

3rd Person's POV

Raven fell once again, this time Techno didn't stop Dream from approaching her. Techno went over to help keep the crowd away from the 3 people. Dream grabbed Raven away from Phil, scanning over her whispering 'no' over and over again. Using his body as a shield  to keep her safe, he held a axe to Phil who approached them slowly. The crowd behind them watching as Dream-the admin, man with no attachment- fall apart slowly.

"Dream, I need to heal her. I need you to come back to reality, control yourself." Dreams eyes flickered back to their normal emerald green. Letting Phil start to heal her, never letting go of her hand. An sword came out of no where, being aimed at Dreams shoulder, he quickly dodged. He turned back into Nightmare, ready to attack. Techno went to help Phil silently agreeing that they can't stop him, only Raven can...she was his tie to reality. Hurrying, to get Raven to wake back up, giving her potions. Nightmare was striking the SMP members with all force, attacking every chance he gets. 3 were heavily wounded from fighting with Nightmare, lots were tired and sustained bruises, Tommy was among them fighting to stop Nightmare. 

Raven was waking back up due to the potions, her wings were still in bad shape. Techno explained the situation as quickly as possible. Raven jumped up and stood in front of Nightmares axe, stopping an attack on Punz. Nightmare staggered a bit, Raven slowly extended her hand to Nightmares face. Nightmare's eyes were flickering between green and red. Nightmare lost the fight and turned back into Dream. Falling into Raven who caught him.

Techno held Dream's hand an act not going unnoticed by Raven and Phil, while Phil and Raven tried to heal him. The SMP grabbed their weapons and approached again,  Tommy stopped them, reasoning with them, telling them to return back to L'manberg. No one argued with Tommy, especially since Tubbo was calling them back to the land. All leaving the group alone, letting everyone breath. Techno carried Dream back to the cottage and Phil was helping Raven walk back as well.

Ok so this is going to be a Dreamnoblade book. I planned on that from the start, this is not the main focus of this book but it will be featured in it anyway, Questions please message me or comment. I will always answer your questions.
