Erens First Love

Lucky? Ducky?

All four occupants were silently looking at each other. Kenny had set Eren down and the short boy was shifting his weight from foot to foot. Levi cut his eyes to the brunette and glared causing Eren to flinch.

" So if their your aunt and uncle you obviously knew I was your COUSIN!" he raged taking a step towards Eren. Kenny grabbed Erens arm and pulled him behind his back. Kenny growled at his nephew.

" Levi stop jumping to fucking conclusions and think. If he was your cousin don't you think I would have told you that back at the restaurant!" The older man shot back. Kuchel stood up and went around to Eren who was shaking in fear.

" Easy sweet heart just breath." She said softly while rubbing his back. When Levi saw the state Eren was in he calmed down. He then stepped around his uncle and took the shorter boys hand.

" I'm sorry bright eyes I'm just confused and not understanding what is going on. How about we all sit down. I'll call for some tea." Levi asked the boy while cupping his cheek. Eren shook his head but didn't look up.

The four made their way to the sitting area and sat down. Levi pulled out his phone typed a message and sent it. After a few moments there was a knock and a man with dark brown hair walked in setting the tray of tea down then left.

There was one white mug among the delicate tea cups. Levi leaned forward grabbing the mug then placed it in Erens hands Before he made himself a cup of tea.

" I know you like hot chocolate more than tea." The raven simply said when Eren looked to him questioningly. The room was silent for awhile with the occasional sip here and there.

" I didn't know they were your mom and uncle." Eren was the first to say.

" I mean I've never even seen you, until the restaurant." He finished looking to Levi. Levi was staring at the wall running everything through his head when his mother giggled.

" Eren hunny, what do you mean you've never seen Levi before?" The small woman asked still laughing. Eren and Levi both looked at her like she was crazy.

" A better question is how does the Rat not remember him." Kenny grumbled as he pulled a flask out to 'spice up' his tea. 

Both teens looked at each other with furrowed brows. Then to the two adults sitting across from them.

" What the hell are you two going on about! Just spit it out already!" Levi whined. Eren looked to Levi in amazement. He actually whined! Kuchel laughed again then looked up to the ceiling in thought. Her eyes went wide as she snapped her fingers.

" Levi close your eyes and picture Eren with light brown almost blond hair and brown eyes." When Levi just stared at her she sighed. " Just do it dumpling!" The raven grumbled at the name but closed his eyes leaning his head back.

He pictured Eren as he knew him now. Then he replaced his hair with a light brownish blond mop. He then concentrated on picturing the beautiful sea green eyes as brown. After awhile there was a clear picture in his mind. Then as if he had been shocked Levi sat up snapping his head to Eren, his eyes wide.

" Ducky!" Was the only thing he could say. Erens face lit up bright red and he sneered at the other.

" You can't call me that!" Eren yelled kicking Levi in the leg making the raven cuss and causing Kenny to bust out laughing.

" Kid he's the one that gave you that name! Because of that god awful wig your brother made you wear whenever you went out." The older man continued to laugh. Kuchel laughed too but then looked to Eren.

" I don't get it though, why don't you remember Levi." She asked in concern. Eren just looked to her in confusion. Then he stopped to think.

" I don't know honestly. I just remember a twig like boy with long black hair and his face kind of hollow. He was my best friend. He gave me the name. Then he just disappeared. Zeke said he had moved away." Eren looked around the room to see Kenny and Kuchel looking down at their laps. Levi had his eyes narrowed at the brunette and was grinding his teeth.

" I.wasnt.a.twig!" He growled out.

" Levi there's no way that boy was you. My friend was a skinny short kid who's probably a hermit by now because he didn't know how to socialize." Eren said crossing his arms and glared back at Levi.

Kenny burst out in laughter again about falling off the couch. Kuchel was hitting him in the arm trying to get him to be quiet. After he stopped laughing he pulled out his wallet flipping it to a fold out part that had pictures. He took one picture out and passed it to Eren who looked at it.

There he was, short with that yellowish wig his brother put on him when he left the house and the brown contacts he would force in his eyes. Be hind him was a young Zeke a young Kuchel and young Kenny. Then beside him, with an arm around his waist was a scrawny twig like boy with long black hair and shadowy features. Erens eyes widened when he looked back to Kenny. That really was Levi but Eren didn't remember him as Levi he remembered him as.......

" Lucky" was all the boy whispered when he looked back to Levi, his mouth hung open. Levi smacked the back of his head.

" I'm not that damn leprechaun you little shit!" The raven growled. Tears started to form in Erens eyes then he launched himself at Levi.

" Oh my god! I didn't know! I never thought I'd see you again Zeke said you moved away. You never said good bye!" Eren cried as Levi held him. The raven looked to the other adults who avoided his gaze.

' So they were in on it' Levi thought to himself. He'd definitely interrogate them later. Kuchel cleared her throat then smiled warmly.

" So if you don't mind me asking why are you here sweetie?" She asked.

" Yeah scamp! Why you rolling around with filth." Kenny asked then dodged Levi's fist.

" Shut up old man! He's here because he's my boyfriend." Levi growled holding Eren to him daring the others to try and say other wise. Both adults rolled their eyes and buried their faces in their hands.

" Does Zeke know?" Kenny murmured out.

" No!" Eren said frantically. " Dont tell Monkey! He'll force me to be home schooled if he finds out!" The teen looked ready to cry. Levi's eyes widened as he held Eren closer and looked to his mother and uncle for support. The brother and sister looked to each other then to the boys sadly.

" Eren I can't promise..... Eren what's that on your neck?" The woman asked mid sentence. Eren sniffled a little but looked down. He saw the pendant Levi had given him then started crying more.

" L-L-Levi g-gave it to m-m-me!" He forced out. Kuchel looked to her son who blushed, but met her eyes and nodded. She sighed a little and sat back looking to her brother.

" Well Kenny what say you. Your the head." She said flatly already knowing what her brother would say.

" I say this is going to be the best kept secret ever! But you only have until Zeke gets back in a few weeks. When he's back home you both have to tell him." Kenny said sternly. Eren sniffled a little but nodded. Levi glared at his uncle but agreed.

" And if he doesn't like it?" Levi asked lowly.

" Then we'll deal with him" Kuchel said with a smirk. Kenny laughed and pointed a thumb at his sister.

" Zeke has never said no to her. She scares him to much!" The older man laughed loudly.

The four sat together for a little longer catching up with one another. Especially with Eren since they hadn't gotten to see their 'nephew' in so many years. But they were soon interrupted by a phone call. Kenny answered then quickly hung up turning to Levi and Kuchel.

" Business meeting." Was all he said before he ruffled Erens hair and walked out.
