Wow guys thank you so much for your support. I never expected to get a message saying my work was nominated for the Wattys 2021. Unfortunately it won't qualify due to not being completed. But never the less it made my day. You all are the real MVPs and I appreciate you all so so much. I wish I could do something for all of you but unfortunately there's not many ways to be able to do that. The only thing I can even remotely think of is sharing the title for the second installment with you all early. So here it is everyone, along with some art that will be part of the book.

Yet again there was darkness all around along with a killer headache. Though this time it was accompanied with full body aches, especially all around tender ribs. Erens mind processed as it started to finally come to.

'This better not be a new normal for me. Or I swear to god I'm gonna make everyone's lives a living hell.' The brunette thought to himself. His brows drew together in pain as his head throbbed harder with his thoughts. He laid perfectly still focusing on willing his body to stay completely limp hoping it would ease some of the pain. But that only caused his head to hurt even more, to the point a pained whimper escaped his lips.

Instantly there was the tale tale sound of a chair scraping across the floor which caused his ears to ring and make his head ache worse which in turn made him whimper louder.

"Shit, Hanji get in here! He's fighting the sedation and trying to wake up!" A deep rough voice yelled. Eren cried out causing his whole body to tense which made the pain unbearably overwhelming. He felt his heart rate pick up as he started to panic. A few seconds later a loud alarm started screeching indicating his destress.

" Bright eyes you have to calm down. Stop fighting it just relax and rest, please I'm begging you. I'm here, Im not going anywhere I promise. I'll keep you safe Eren, just stop fighting and relax. Your going to hurt yourself worse!" The brunette finally registered the voice as Levi's and his eyes instantly snapped open searching for the beautiful silver ones he had longed to see.

A Hand lightly grabbed his own and squeezed as another came up and ran through his sweaty brown locks. Soon there was the voice of another person but he couldn't care less, he had Levi. His grip tighten around the ravens fingers once he found his face. Eren tried to speak but his jaw wouldn't listen or his tongue. It felt like something had been shoved in his mouth and forced his tongue to lay flat down against its will. Is if reading Erens mind Levi started to speak again.

" Dont try and talk Princess. You are on a ventilator and have a tube down your throat. I need you to relax and go back to sleep PLEASE Love. Just go back to sleep." The raven begged as his eyes began to well up. He then turned his head and began quietly yelling at the other person in the room.

" Damnit fucking shit for brains how long until you have him sedated again! Hurry up before he starts ripping things out!" Levi ordered in a panic.

" I just pumped another dose into him and upped the amount he'll get regularly. He should start to fall back asleep any moment now." Came the frantic reply from Hanji.

" Thank fuck I think it's working!" Levi said as he went back to rubbing Erens head and whispering to him.

" Sleep beautiful, you need it. I'll be here when you wake. I'm not going anywhere Bright eyes." Levi leaned down and placed a delicate kiss on Erens chapped lips right next to the breathing tube.

" I love you Eren. I'm so sorry I let this happen." Eren wanted so much to return the kiss and tell his prince it wasn't his fault. That he didn't blame Levi at all, but was unable to as his vision started to blur and darkness over took him again.

The next time Eren awoke luckily his head wasn't throbbing. Actually he didn't have a headache at all. His body also didn't hurt nowhere's near what it did that first time. His only problem now was the full body stiffness. He laid there for quite a few moments listening to the soft steady beeping of a heart monitor and the dripping of some fluid. He was almost lulled back to sleep by the soft sounds but a deep sigh caught his attention.

The brunette slowly opened one, then both of his sea foam eyes. The first thing he noticed was,white, everything was white. He slowly turned his head to the right and saw multiple black, grey, and silver machines. One had a green, red, and blue line that waved up and down. The next looked like gray and silver pumps full of medicine lines that all lead into his IV. From what he could tell everything looked pretty normal. He then turned his head to the right and his breath caught in his throat. Apparently his heart skipped a beat too according to the machine that made a noise at the same time right behind him. 

Sitting there in a black leather hospital chair with the leg rest pulled out, was Levi. He had one leg bent at the knee and the other stretched straight out. His hands where folded together over his abdomen, and shifted each time he took a breath. Erens eyes moved up to the sleeping face of the beautiful man. His brows were drawn together as if in thought and his lips slightly parted. His head was slightly tilted back and to the side. Erens lips twitched in a small smile as he gazed lovingly at the bigger male. Then his own brows pulled together in confusion as he spotted the dark almost black bags under his closed eyes.

As if having read his mind, or maybe there was a camera. The door behind the raven softly and slowly opened. Erens body tensed but quickly relaxed when he saw burgundy hair and shiny black glasses. His sea foam eyes danced with happiness as he parted his lips to greet one of his best friends.

Hanji quickly held a finger up to their lips telling him to be quiet and nodded at Levi. Eren looked back to his boyfriend and nodded as best he could. They quickly and quietly made their way over to the seat on his left and sat down before taking his hand in theirs  and smiled. They kissed his knuckles before leaning back up and whispering to him.

" We need to talk my baby. I have been watching the cameras for hours making sure I was the first one to know you were awake and could explain everything to you. I even slipped Levi a sleeping pill to knock him out because I could tell you were getting close to waking up. I want to make sure you know everything that has happened since you passed out and I'm worried the others wouldn't want to tell you." They said with a sad but understanding smile.

Eren returned their smile and nodded. " Ok Momma Hanji, what's been going on?" He asked lowly making sure not to wake the sleeping Prince next to him.
