Jade had her hand on her gun and walked towards the house. She looked around the house before knocking. There was only one car in the driveway. Jade had parked on the street in front of a house next to Lilly Anne's. Rick nodded to Jade meaning "Knock." Jade knocked on the softly. She heard some one moving around. Then they stopped at the door. She knocked once more.
"Who is it?" A man asked.

"Police officer Jade La Bar and Richard Miller." Jade replied.

The man opened the door. He was about 34, had brown hair, an aftershave, and deep brown eyes.
"Like I said, Lilly is at her sisters house in---," The man was cut off by Rick.

"Let us in." Rick shoved him out of the way.

Rick and Jade looked around to find nothing. Lilly probably was in New Jersey. The only thing they found that held any importance was a note from Mara Lee, Lilly Anne's twin sister. It read: Dear sister,
Christmas is near by, but I will not be able to see you on that jolly day. But may a sky you to come see me on the 2nd of December? Here is my address: 2234 Murrow lane Caster, New Jersey

Love,
Mara Lee

Jade stuck the note into her pocket. 'Today was December 1st.' She thought. Jade walked back over to the man.
"Who are you anyhow?" Jade frowned.

"Oliver Forge. Lilly's husband. Call me Ollie." The man replied.

"Does Lilly talk about her other family members?" Rick chimed in.

"No, sir." Ollie told him.

"Do you know why?" Rick squinted.

"No clue." Ollie sighed.

"Okay. Thanks Ollie. Buh-bye." Jade shook Ollie's hand.

"Good-bye, ma'am." Ollie waved.

Jade hopped into her police car. Rick got in shortly after. Ken scooted up towards Jade. She looked at him shook her head meaning "Not now." Jade started the car.

Jade pulled into her own driveway. She got out and open Ken's door. He stepped out.
"I've got to fly to New Jersey. You need to stay here. I don't need you yapping at me about staying because I'm not. Rick is coming with me." Jade explained.

"I'm coming with you then." Ken told her.

"No your not. I need you here. I don't need you distracting me with your good looks, hon'." Jade joked.

"I love you." Ken kissed Jade.

"Love you too." Jade hugged him.

"I'm taking my truck back to the station first." Rick said.

"Okay. I'll go pack. I might be gone for more than one night." Jade went inside.

Ken pulled Rick aside so he could talk to him.
"I'm coming with you two. I have the money to buy myself a ticket. Heck I could buy one hundred tickets." Ken told Rick.

"I agree that you should. Hide in the back seat. I'll open the door when we get to the airport." Rick patted him on the back.

"I know that you would be able to look after her. I just want to be with her. Make sure she's kosher." Ken laughed.

"I'm glad you two are engaged. Congrats man." Rick smiled.

"You better get your truck back." Ken reminded Rick.

Ken got in the backseat and hid. Rick got back and they were ready to go. Jade brought her purse and got in the police car. They drove to the airport. Jade got out. Rick opened Ken's door. Jade turned around to see what Rick was doing. Rick closed the door without letting Ken out. He waited till Jade walked away and then he opened it again. This time Ken got out.
"How am I supposed to hide from her?" Ken asked Rick.

"Blend in with the crowd of people. I'll make sure you get on the plane first." Rick replied.

"Okay. Thanks." Ken high-fived Rick.
