In the following days the brown-haired boy always went to see Tendou, even without he asking him anything.
So a week passed, and Ushijima began to get used to that everyday life.

It was 10 in the morning, the boy was already leaving the house to spend another day with his friend.
It was a pretty nice day, it wasn't windy and it wasn't cold either.

Once he arrived at the hospital, Ushijima didn't find Tendou in his room, so he decided to go and ask the nurse closest to him.
She only said that she had seen him pass through the corridor, so Ushijima thanked her anyway.
Then he looked at the notification that had just arrived on his phone.
It was Tendou.

"Wakatoshi-kun, come where the food distributors are! "

Ushijima's eyes widened: there were three ones in the whole hospital.

"Which one? The one near the entrance?" wrote the brown-haired boy, to avoid having to check them all.

Tendou said yes, so Ushijima walked towards the food distributors, finding him in a couple of minutes.

"What are you doing here?" then he said, once he was close to Tendou.

The boy, once he noticed the brown-haired boy, hugged him.
"Today is beautiful day outside, let's go out." he said, without dissolve the hug.

Ushijima was initially confused, he had forgotten that he had promised to Tendou that they would come out as soon as time allowed.

"What are you talking about?" indeed he said, dissolving the hug to look him in his eyes.

"I've already asked and they said it's okay if you stay with me for today, just I have to come back by tonight." Tendou said enthusiastically.
The boy had his same cheerful expression and meanwhile kept his gaze fixed on Ushijima.

"But you felt bad yesterday Tendou..." the brown-haired said, moving a red tuft from Satori's eyes.

"Come on Wakatoshi-kun, it's not even cold today, let's go out for a while."

Ushijima snorted, then smiled at the boy's pleading expression.
"It's okay then."
Tendou's eyes lit up, and immediately he put on his jacket too and started walking out.

Ushijima smiled again, seeing the happiness etched in Satori's face as they walked out of there.
"Do you have any idea where to go?" the red-haired boy asked even more enthusiastically.

"You don't even know where you want to go?" the other boy asked, stifling a laugh.
Tendou said no with his head.

"It's the same for me." he replied.
Wakatoshi gave a short laugh.

"I'm starting to worry, since when do you know how to laugh? And most of all, what's funny now?" the red-haired boy said, laughing too.
Ushijima looked at the boy and smiled.

"So do you know where to go or do I have to find a place myself?" Tendou continued.

"Better if I find it, I have an idea." Wakatoshi said.

"And where?" Satori said as he close to Ushijima.

"You'll see it, follow me."

Wakatoshi took Tendou by the wrist. Meanwhile, the red-haired boy continued to look around, happy to finally be out of there.
"Let's go get something for lunch first, okay?" Ushijima asked, attracting Satori's attention.

"Yes, please, I'm sick of hospital food."

Ushijima then took his friend to a small bar, where it took Tendou almost 10 minutes to decide what to have.
At the end, in addition to various things to eat, they only took two bottles of water.

"You haven't told me where we are going yet, Wakatoshi-kun." the boy said, immediately after leaving the bar.

"You'll see it soon, he's not far from here."

"Mh.~" the red-haired boy smiled returning to look around, and then spoke again.

"Wakatoshi, aren't you playing volleyball anymore?"

Ushijima turned his head to Tendou, who was staring at him.
"Yes, I still play volleyball." he replied.
"And have you never had any training these days?" asked the amazed red-haired boy.
"Yes, I had them, but nothing happens if I sometimes skip them."
Tendou stopped walking and opened his eyes wide, and Ushijima, once stopped, asked him what he had.

"Where did you put Ushijima Wakatoshi?" said the serious red-haired boy, then starting to walk again, they burst out laughing.

"Seriously, don't skip training cause of me, okay?" Tendou said once he stopped laughing.
Ushijima continued to walk, without answering: spending time with Satori at this moment was very important for him, he would think about the future later, although he hope that it would never arrive.

"We've arrived Tendou." then Ushijima said, breaking the silence that had been created between the two.
Tendou looked at Wakatoshi raising an eyebrow, then brought his gaze in front of them.
"But the avenue ends here." Tendou said, seeing only a low wall and trees in front of him. Ushijima laughed.

"You can't see it from here. Do you see that staircase? - He said pointing to it, he was on the other side of the wall, the red-haired boy nodded - Come here, let's go down."
Ushijima climbed over the small wall, Tendou had stood still.
"Come on, come closer, I'll give you a hand."
Satori close to Ushijima, took his hand and he managed to get to the other side of the wall too, despite some effort that made him start coughing.
"I don't understand." he said when he stopped, with an expression that made the brown-haired boy laugh.
"Come on, it's down here." he replied.

After a couple of minutes, the two boys arrived at the end of the staircase, there was a small beach.
They stopped.
Satori was initially surprised, then took a few steps forward from Ushijima, without saying anything.
He found himself a few meters from the sea, that was calm and crystalline.

"Wakatoshi... - then he said, still scanning the view, surprised - Wakatoshi, thank you!" Tendou exclaimed, starting to smile.

Ushijima smiled too, although his friend couldn't see him being further ahead of him, then he sat down on the sand.
"Tendou don't get too close to the water." he said laughing.
Tendou's reaction had made Ushijima smile, seeing how happy his friend was despite it was just a small beach made him feel better.

The boy at those words turned to Ushijima, and finding him sitting down, he went towards him, sitting down netx to him.
"It's beautiful here." then he stated, leaning on his friend's shoulder.
