"Hey, nice to see you." He wrapped me up in a hug.
I relaxed in his embrace. "You too. How did you know to come rescue me?"
"I had some urgent news for Senator Organa, and as I was leaving, Ventress made me fly here on the way back to Onderon. She said something about a vision and needing to help you. We found Bo-Katan and freed her. She showed us the way to the throne room. You know the rest."
"Thanks. I owe you one."
He smiled. "I'll always come to help. You know the way I feel about you."
I hesitated a moment. "Do I?"
His hand slid down into mine, our fingers interlocked. "I think so."
I stood on my toes and kissed his cheek. "And you know how I feel about you."
Suddenly, I felt a presence walk out of the hospital. We quickly let go and took an awkward step away from each other. The man raised an eyebrow. "Your friend has been stabilized. You can go see her if you'd like." I nodded, and we followed him inside.
