When they did, I put on my best "oh no I haven't done anything" face. They must have bought it, because they lowered their weapons.
"You're coming with us," one said. I just stood there. One of them grabbed my wrists and started taking me towards the elevator.
Their commander recieved a transmission. "Commander, this prisoner is to see me immediately," it said. He responded, and we walked towards the Inquisitor's office. The troopers took me into a room with a desk and chair, and left. The Inquisitor and I were the only ones in the room.
"Ah young Jedi, do you know how excited I am to finally meet you? I've spent so much time searching for the leader of the rebels, yet you simply came when your friend was in danger.
"There are a few things I will never understand, and one is the compassion you Jedi show to others. The Sith need no one and work to make their lives better, and sometimes worse for weaklings in the way of power."
"I'm sorry that you'll never understand, I truly am. Let me help you."
"That is not the point of this little discussion. What I want to know is where the rest of the rebel cells are and how I can eliminate them."
"I'm sorry, but I'd rather die then tell you that. All those involved in the rebellion are aware of the risks and not afraid of the consequences."
"Well, there are other means of punishment, like the compassion you Jedi show. It's your weakness. What would you do if it's not your life on the line?"
"What do you mean?"
"Your friend may have other uses for me. Mark my words, I will have the information I need, or your friend won't live to see tomorrow!"
The troopers came back in and escorted me to a prison cell. I was left alone with my worries. Where is Lux? Did he make it? Did he leave? There was no way to tell. I just have to hope that he makes it out of this.
