He was unconcious. I took out my saber and cut the bottom. Lux fell to the floor. I caught him as he fell, and he started to wake up.

"Ahsoka, I told you not to come for me."

"I didn't listen. You're too important to me to leave you at the mercy of the Empire."

"Speaking of which, they have a new guy."

"What do you mean?"

"The Inquisitor. He...he tortured me to try to get information."

"Hey, it'll be ok. I promise." I gave him a hug and helped him stand up.

"So, what's your brilliant plan to get us out of here?"

I smriked. "The vents." We walked out and jumped into the vents. After lots of crawling, I sensed that somethig wasn't right. Then, I heard a mechanical noise. I looked up, and sure enough the platform was sealing its self. I turned my attention towards Lux.

"Don't get in the way! It will cut you in half!"

He nodded and moved between two of the doors. Once they had closed, I assesed the situation.

"Lux, you still with me?" To my knowledge, he was still on the other side of a door.

"Yeah, I'm alright. You?"

"I've got some work to do. Get as far away from this door as possible."

I cut a circle through the door with my lightsaber. Lux climbed through. I kept cutting, and we kept crawling. We were moving half as fast as before.

Time passed, so I spoke. "This is not going to do us any good. I say we split up. You can find a decent sized ship, and I'll try to find this Inquisitor. If I keep him occupied, you can have an easier time. Once you signal me that you've left, I'll leave and we can meet on the abandoned mine on the other side of the planet."

He pondered this for a minute. "I don't know. Splitting up seems awfully risky. Are you sure?"

"I guess. It's our best option. Plus, by these doors closing, we know that they've found us."

"Alrighty then." He jumped out of the shaft and looked both ways. I jumped out after him.

"Hey, um, we both know the worst possible thing that could happen right?"

I was silent. We both knew that by splitting up, we faced a greater risk of getting caught. If we are caught, the sentence for those being involved in a rebellion is death.

"Yeah, I just hope that it doesn't happen."

"Me neither. But just in case we never meet up again-"

He kissed me. His hands snaked around my waist as I kissed him back. After a few seconds of pure bliss, he pulled away and ran in the opposite direction. Before my brain registered what just happened, he was already gone. I just stood there for a moment. I had a serious reality check when a squad of troopers came into the hall.

I panicked and ran. I can't use my lightsabers without letting everyone know that I'm a Jedi.

I kept running until I came to a ray-sheilded door. No good. There was no other way to go. I came up with a crazy plan, and waited for the troopers to find me.
