Nancy's P.O.V

"What? They can't - wait... Why?" I question.

"Because the movie hasn't reached the marketing team yet. It's still under editing. And even if it does, they still need a week more or so before they're able to get it through cinemas Nationwide." Abigail explains.

"So, My Second won't be in cinema next tomorrow?" I ask again to understand clearly.

"Yup!" She sighs.

"Okay. Hey, what do you think Mr Harry will say about this? He hasn't contacted any of us - or at least me. Has he spoken to you maybe?" I inquire.

"Nope. He'll probably talk to Kennedy or Cassius. Speaking of Cassius, how is he?"

Why did she have to bring him up?

"I uh, I haven't heard from him in a while now. But I'm sure he's fine. He told me some days ago that he'd be back this week." I give a brief explanation. I don't want to go too deep.

"Oh, okay. It's no biggie actually. I just pray he'll be okay and also bring some things for us. He can't come back empty handed, else I'll send him back!" She jokes. "At least, My Second will be a New Year's movie. It will probably be released during the second week of January. Speaking of January and holiday coming very soon, how are you planning on spending this year's Christmas? You know it's just in three days!" She squeals into the phone.

"Oh chill, Abby. When the day comes, we will know." I say simply.

"Chill? Did you just tell me to...chill?! Girl, are you crazy or have a few wires in your head been tampered with? We are talking about Christmas! The time where people get together, kill chicken, eat rice, go to church, go out, have fun! All those fun stuff, and you're telling me to chill?! Girl, you need first class deliverance."

Dramatic Abigail.

"Oh, please! All the chicken in Nigeria have probably sworn for all of us because we abuse them for no reason. Besides, what is so special about eating chicken on Christmas day? I eat chicken almost everyday!" I point out.

Abby scoffs into the phone. "Whatever... Hey, what are you doing today? I was thinking maybe we can hang out. You know? Have another girl's day out. Oh! That reminds me. The things I bought for myself are still at your place. Hope you helped me preserve those edible stuff?"

I mock gasp. "Are you kidding me? What are you insinuating? - that I'm careless or not sensible enough to know that I should preserve them?"

She lets out a loud laugh. "I was joking, girl! But you didn't answer my question though. Are you going to be free?"

I furrow my brows, turning to a comfortable laying position on my bed. "Nope. I got a lot to handle right now."

"Okay. Is one of them about Nina's miscarriage?" She whispers lowly - like she isn't sure if she should ask.

"Yeah, it is. Things are getting more complicated everyday. I just wish life didn't have problems..." I confide in her. I haven't told her what happened in the hospital yesterday, and frankly I don't want to just yet. When I get to the bottom of who did it, maybe then I'll tell her.

"Oh sweetie. I wish I were there to hug you and kiss away your worries. That's kind of one of the reasons I wanted us to go out, but you have a lot to do so I'll just...stay here and you stay there." She chuckles.

"Yeah." I chuckle equally.

"Thank you, Abby. Thanks for being a great person and for making me smile. It means a lot." I say honestly.
