TWO DAYS LATER

Nancy's P.O.V

"Will you take Daniella Essi as your beloved wife, in sickness and in health, in hard times and in good times, in-"

"I do!" James interjects, before the priest goes any further with the vows.

Well, for one thing, I'm surprised Dani didn't tell me she's marrying a fifty year old man that already has four children and two divorced wives.

That is definitely something.

He's a tall, fair man with grey hair; well defined grey hair. His children are currently present at the wedding. Two of which look like they're in their 30's. Early thirties. While the other two look like they're in their teen age. Maybe between 16-20.

The ex wives are also present. I'm guessing that was Dani's idea. She's always nice.

I don't know... Personally, if I were in her shoes, I would be very uncomfortable. I mean, who knows if these ex wives of his are over him?! For all we know, they may be planning her death in their heads; waiting for the right time to act on it?

A bit cynical. I know.

And also, why did both his marriages fail? Is it just the women or some inside things are going on...

Know what I'm sayin' ?

But seriously though, people don't think as innocently as we do sometimes.

Plus, what if the children don't embrace Dani with open arms? Have they even introduced themselves to each other? If they don't like each other, that could be a family crisis that I do not want to know how it ends...

Overall, I hope she knows what she's getting into; that she'll be happy with her decision.

"You may now kiss the bride!"

And with the priest's order, James and Dani share a long french kiss.

How romantic.

"The after wedding ceremony can now commence!" The priest yells again, and immediately, people start dispersing. Some to the food section, others to... wherever they want to go. I don't know... I just stand where I am; among the congregation - that is now dispersing, that is..

Oh and by the way, Dani decided that the wedding be done at the reception; instead of the church to the venue of the reception. Saves a lot of stress, I tell you.

"Dani! Congratulations!" I yell out to her with a grin.

Something else to add, I went over to her house earlier the day and she had her personal make-up artist do my make up, alongside hers, and she also had the assistant do the other people she invited, make-up as well.

As someone who a lot of professionals has done make-up for, the woman did a pretty great job.

Daniella not so easily greets the crowd quickly before getting to me. It's not her fault. The man brought a lot of his other family members and friends.

When she's close enough, she blushes, fanning her eyes dramatically. "You don't know how happy I am that I'm finally married to the love of my life. And also that you came. I appreciate."

"Well, it's a bummer for me that you didn't tell me the man you were getting to -- pardon me, that you're now married to, is an elderly man..." I look around, smiling to people that recognize me, even waving as a sign of respect.

Daniella was very kind to make this place 'paparazi-proof'. Thank God for that. Although I don't know if the decision was based solely on my attendance, or maybe cause of James. Or just her own comfort entirely...
