The Karnak Temple was beautiful and it had so many striking features. We spent the day goofing around and marvelling at the beautiful architecture.

After walking about in the sweltering heat the whole day, we were now resting in our beds, looking out the window at the waters of Nile, glittering in the moonlight.

Grandma and Bibha were talking to Sibashish's parents who were also in our room while I was here, getting bored. Then suddenly a knock sounded on our door, making me get up to open it.

There stood my knight in shining leather jacket, here to save me from my boredom. I noticed that he was also carrying his guitar behind his back, which made me even giddier.

"Hey so you wanna head to the deck?" He asked.

"Yeah let me just tell my Grandma..."

I went back in and told Grandma that I was going up to the deck with a friend for a bit. She nodded and I walked out to join Aiden.

My jaw dropped as I registered the view from the deck. It was absolutely breathtaking. Walking up to the very edge, I leaned over the ledge. The cool breeze swayed around as I looked down at the splashing water. Up in the sky, the moon shone beautifully while the stars were a masterpiece on their own.

I was so entranced by the entirety of it that I'd nearly forgotten about Aiden. Which is why I was startled when I saw two arms appear on either side of me to hold the bars. We had gotten quite close in the last few days, which is probably why he rested his chin on top of my head, with his chest flush against my back.

Needless to say, this was all very Titanic...

After I got over my initial blush fest, I broke the silence.

"comfy?" I asked, teasingly.

"mmhmm...very,"

His gravelly voice shook me to my core making me a bit dizzy.

Save for three other people, who were on the opposite end from us, the deck was empty. So it was just us in the moment.

Feeling a bit courageous, I rested my hand on his, hoping he wouldn't move it away, which he thankfully didn't. Instead he flipped his hand so that his palm was agains't mine and intertwined our fingers.

I always thought that romance novels were exaggerating when they talked about sparks. But Aiden's touch really did shoot electricity through my entire being.

"Your hands are tiny... just like you," He whispered in my ear.

"I'm not tiny! you're just freakishly large," I defended.

"It's alright though... cause I love it," he said, before raising my hand up to his lips to kiss it.

I thanked the universe for the darkness, because I was blushing 50 shades of red right now. It wasn't butterflies in my stomach, it was a full on elephant stampede by now.

"Will you play something for me?" I said, barely above a whisper.

"Hmm I see you didn't forget," He said, moving away from me, unfortunately.

He tugged me by my forearm and sat me on one end of one of those long sunbathing chairs. Then he sat, inches away from me, taking the guitar in his hands.

"Any requests? My Lady?" He said in an awful British accent, making me giggle.

"Your choice..." I said.

"Well okay then..." he replied, pausing to think before he started strumming lightly.
