(takes place in season two, after scene where Hargreeves siblings were late and briefcase that Five get by killing the board disappeared)

I think it's not completely x reader, more like what five feels in hard times, because I feel like his family is treating him really wrong. eh let's get started

It was too much for him, he tried, he really tried, and all he got in return was realization that his brothers and sisters didn't really care. Five risked EVERYTHING for them, damn he killed people with random ax, and all they were thinking about was their personal problem with their lovers. Why didn't they understand that the world is ending? Why didn't they see that all he does is for them and N? All he wanted was them to be alive and together. As it was when they were kids, when his life was easier.

Every time things were getting too overwhelming, Five just wanted to run away, forget about everything and everyone. But he couldn't. No matter how stupid and idiotic they all were, he still cared about his family. And it was him who could save them. So he stayed

Was it really that hard for them to be there in time? Fuck it was one moment to get here! He looked at Luther, and his rage only growing, seeing how his brother don't get the seriousness of situation. And where was N now? Probably still looking for those idiots, she didn't know it doesn't have a sense anymore

... 

"And you know what idiots? IT'S EVERY SIBLING FOR HIMSELF NOW!" yes, maybe it wasn't the best option to leave them there, but he just couldn't look at them anymore. 

Five appeared in Elliot's flat and started walking around it like a crazy man. Maybe he was a one? He didn't knew anymore. After few minutes of kicking everything in his sight,he bumped into a couch.

And than he felt that. This awful feeling of extreme tiredness and sadness, but the worst part was he felt that before many times. Ever time when he saw Vanya's book in ruins of the apocalypse, he felt the same. But when he come back to his family, he hoped to never feel that again, because they were supposed to be together

Maybe he was stupid too, all he wanted is for them t be again as a kids, idiotic right? but it was all he knew, so why they expected him to suddenly stop caring about the fate of the world? It was Five who spent 45 fucking years in the apocalypse, they had a normal life, friends, kids, love interests, they own flats and things like that.

Perhaps it was better to stay in the apocalypse? As it seems they were much happier without him and with their normal life. Why didn't they saw all the care he put into saving the world? 

It wasn't supposed to went like that. He just wanted spent last time with his family, stop the apocalypse in 2019 by killing one person, and than living a finally nice and normal  live. He was old. In this moment he felt all those things just hanging on his shoulder causing him to fall int the rock bottom..

He should have stayed

This thought was growing louder and louder in the back on his head. He wasn't crying, yelling or showing any emotions now. It was clueless, none cared anyway. So he just lied like that, snuggled into weird smelling pillows, feeling like a little boy and an old man at once

And that how N found him, lying with no move on Elliot's sofa. She worked for the commission too many years, and saw too many things. So her first thought was that, Five was dead, and the reaction was automatic for her, she run to him and touched his neck, to check the pulse.  When she felt,it running, she sighed with relief. 

N knew it was stupid to overact every time when Five was lying or sleeping, but she cannot help it. But this time he wasn't sleeping, as she saw after few seconds, he seemed like it, but he wasn't. It worried her even more, than she already was.  Why wasn't he reacting?

"N? you're here already?" she heard Luther from the kitchen, he sounded calm, but when she looked at him, his expression immediately felled by her angry look. 

"What did you do to him?" she get up, coming closer to big guy, with murder in her eyes. Luther back a little off, to be honest this girl scared him, he knew she didn't like him since he yelled at Five in his work few days ago.

"Me-e?? I did nothing, it's not my fault, he just... get angry again" N raised her eyebrow  as a question "you know this woman gave him this briefcase, but said it's disappearing in 1 our or something, and than we didn't make it in time and.."

"okay, I get it, now shut your mouth and get out of here" surprisingly Luther left, mumbling something about teens "IF YOU DON'T STOP TALKING I'LL FUCKING TWIST YOUR SPINE"

When he was out, she kneeled against Five face. HE was now looking at her, but still blankly

"Five, I know it can be har-" she started but suddenly he jumped up 

"HARD?! YOU KNOW IT CAN BE HARD?"  she was surprised by his sudden outburst, but getting lowkey angry too. What gave him permission to yell at her

"IT'S FUCKING EXHAUSTING N! i'M TIRED, i WAN'T TO FADE THE FUCK AWAY! THOSE IDIOTS THINK I'M DOING IT FOR FUN DO YOU UNDERSTAND?! THEY DON'T EVEN TRY TO HELP OH-UH POOR HARLAN IS SICK" he was yelling while hiding his head in hands "YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SICK TOO! BUT DOES ANYONE CARE? NO!" he felled on the couch again, like his energy suddenly disappeared "I-I just want them to understand how I do everything for them. And for you"

N smiled, hearing this and hugged her boyfriend "Five" she mumbled to his chest as she heard that "I don't know your siblings very well but.. I know they love you" he raised his eyebrows, which calmed her down a little, because that means he's going back to his normal sarcastic self

"N I'm-m.. I'm scared we will die you know? I think we will" she was about to deny it but he didn't let her "It was our last chance, I did it again. I killed them" N really wanted to ask who but she decided to do it later

"It doesn't matter Five, all what matters now is you" 

Five wasn't used to be the important one. All this care he was getting from N was cheering his up really fast. It was really weird for him

"We will try as long as we're alive" said N

I swear all I do is making Fie having breakdown XD, I'll do something more happy soon I promise
