CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR.
"OKAY SO YOU knocked Erica out," Scott asked, his eyes narrowing back to Evee who sighed, shaking her head. At the moment, they were waiting in Scott's car for Stiles who had gotten in an accident at Armor Tire while Stiles was trying to repair his car─following Erica knocking Stiles out with a machinery piece from his car.
She didn't even know why she was here in the first place but it was better than doing homework. And Stiles was obviously hurt, interacting with the same creature Allison and Scott had saw on the night of the full moon. With everything going on with Peter and now her friends turning into werewolves, she hadn't had too much time to worry about whatever creature that was─god, could worrying kill you?
Evee was still explaining to Scott what happened when her and Stiles went to Boyd's house, her text obviously wasn't a good enough explanation.
"No, Scotty. I touched her and I guess I overwhelmed her with my memories so she just..fell to the ground," Evee winced as her hands shot up,"I don't even know, okay! All I know is that I needed to help Stiles, I wouldn't hurt Erica. It's just...I'm new to this, I didn't even know I could do that."
"It's fine, Evee," Scott nodded, reassuringly,"I believe you, okay?"
Evee smiled back, her stance getting a bit more comfortable,"But then she was asking about my bite..."
Scott snapped his head back to the brunette girl,"Why?"
Evee shrugged,"Derek. I guess he's confused about me, and I know you're not really pack besties right now with him but I get it."
"No, Evee. You don't get it," Scott moved his body to face Evee,"If Derek's asking about you, its not about anything good."
Evee bit down on her lip, shaking her head in agreement,"I know, but I don't even know why I didn't turn. It makes sense. The only person who probably knew something is..."
And then she though about him again: Peter. It seemed like he knew everything that Evee didn't. She could ask Aleena, but Aleena seemed unfamiliar with werewolf business.
"Who?"
Evee shook her head,"Maybe just Aleena, I'll ask her. Also, when did you start driving? Am I seriously the only person without a freakin' licenses?"
Scott narrowed his eyes to Evee,"You've never taken your drivers test?"
"Yes," she nodded,"I just fail every time."
Scott chuckled as the two snapped their heads to see the familiar buzzcut boy walking over to Scott's car. Scott's smile dropped as Evee sat back in her seat, Stiles opening the car door as Evee looked at Stiles was soft eyes.
