i'm done waiting
for these clouds to blow over my head
so i'm going to a different place
where the sun shines
and the flowers bloom
i'm going to a place where
i won't always be in bed
where the stars are bright
and my mind will rise
i'm done waiting
for happiness to find me
i'm ready to find it myself
i'm done waiting
for the storm to pass
when i can be doing more
this time
i won't be waiting to find the answers
i'll have help
i'm done expecting myself
to know how to do this alone
when i have others who care
who won't let me go
