the sun is still rising
the moon is still hiding
& well, im still breathing
but my heart is hurting
i'm walking
but in circles
and my sight isn't the same anymore
time feels long & fast
will my future be like my past?
my heart is still beating
my blood is still pumping
but my head feels foggy
& i'm running
but from myself
and my feelings aren't the same anymore
the sun is falling
the stars aren't hiding
& i'm hardly breathing
but i'm still breathing
& yes my heart is still hurting
but it's also still beating
well, i'm tired
but it won't keep the sun from rising & falling
