the stars would align
and make a path
just for me
maybe the sun wouldn't bring me to tears
and the night didn't have to scare me anymore
in another world
i might find myself
to love me for me
and not despise what i see in the mirror

maybe i'd be happy and dance from joy
all the while
my friends would drive to come get me
maybe in another world
i'd go watch the sunset & stars
with all the people i loved
and we'd laugh and smile

i'd want to be alive
