i want to touch miles; i want to run to a new place. place me far away, where i can catch my breath and breathe. where i can bring my soul peace. take me to a place a hundred miles away. my heart might feel a small pinch. although, my mind will be yearning for more. take me to a café, so far away. place me beyond two hundred miles. let me dance and sing. i'll cry from joy, at three hundred miles afar. let me be absent to the place i call home. maybe, soon, my smile will truly show. & please take me to a watch the stars. i'd say i'm over four hundred miles away. i'm drinking hot chocolate by the warm flames. & colors radiate off the leafs. five hundred miles away and the sun is shining, vividly. my mornings turn into night even faster. time feels... longer. soon, i'll be more than a thousand miles away. i won't look back, and i won't be thinking of the future. i'll live in the moment, and my heart will now be a million miles away from from what i used to feel.
