Mei gently lands her feet on top of a rock, her eyes gazing Surtur she closes her eyes as she remembers the moments after Raven asked her to join the World Serpent.
-Few hours ago-
Back on the Roost Mei meets someone unexpected.
???:"We would like you to join us Raiden Mei"
Spoke a stoic male voice, Mei turns towards the source of the voice and saw Kevin the leader of the World Serpent. Mei was shocked to see him, she has heard of him from Shinji and Kiana.
Mei:"Why would you have me in your organization?"
Kevin:"Because if you join us, I can offer you the knowledge to save Kiana Kaslana and Shinji Ikari"
Mei was shocked at hearing at what Kevin said, she didn't want to believe him. But, she was desperate she didn't want to lose Kiana and she didn't want to lose Shinji to the beast inside of him. Her heart breaks everytime when she thinks of the cruel fate waiting Shinji.
She closes her eyes and takes deep breath, she opens them and looks at Kevin with serious expression.
Mei:"Tell me what I have to do?"
-Now-
Mei remembers what Kevin told her, all that she had to do was to become the Herrshcer of Thunder once again by making the Gem of Conquest reappear inside of her once more saving Kiana. To do that she followed to where Kiana and Benares went to fight the threat inside the hole above Nagazora, she was able to gather enough Honkai Energy to transform herself into a full Herrscher, after defeating the threat she turned Benares into a new Honkai Beast Kurikura and rescued Kiana.
Kiana discover that Mei joined World Serpent the two fought and Mei won. She looks as Surtur makes his way towards her, the beastly Herrscher looks at her with curiosity.
Surtur:"... Ah"
Mei couldn't help but to feel that this Herrscher while it acts and fights a like beast she cannot stop comparing it to a lost child. Surtur is now standing in front of Mei, she reaches her hand to touch him on the cheek, Surtur moves his head slightly he is scared of her.
Mei:"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you"
She saids in gentle voice, her hand finally reaches what his the beast cheeks and she begins caress him. His body begins to relax as he falls to his knees, Mei gets on her knees also to get to his level she holds his head on her chest as she fells his breath she could tell that he was tired.
-Few Hours Ago-
Mei:"Then how do I save Shinji?"
Kevin has already explained, how she could save Kiana and now she asking how she can seal the Herrscher of Ragnarok?
Kevin:"Do you remember something that the 2nd Herrscher did to Shinji to fully awaken the Herrscher of Ragnarok?"
Mei thinks back, she remembers the Herrscher kissing Shinji and she remembers that Sirin was transfering Honkai Energy into him by that Kiss.
Mei:"Yes, I remember that she kissed him and through that she transfered part of her own power to him"
Kevin:"I see then you must do the same"
Mei:"What?"
Kevin:"The power of the Herrscher responds to the users will, you can command your own power to seal the power of the Herrscher of Ragnarok"
Mei remained silents and she ask Kevin.
Mei:"How do you know this will work?"
Kevin:"I don't, that is up to you to find out"
-Now-
As Mei holds Surtur memories of her with Shinji flush back, Surtur looks at her as Mei looks into his eyes and she sees that inside of this beast was the scared yet brave boy who made her heart skip a beat. With all of her bravery Mei kisses Surtur on his lips, the Herrshcher of Ragnarok was confuse but by insticts he hugs Mei to get her close to him.
Energy begins to surround Surtur as purple light cover his body, the light then slowly disappears to reveal Shinji Ikari as he kisses Mei, Shinji has already lost councious. Mei carries Shinji in a bridal way as she is about to take him to where she has left Kiana, a voice stops her.
???:"I would like if you were to give us Shinji"
Mei turns her head to look behind her to see Gendo Ikari standing there.
Mei:"Why would I do that?"
Gendo:"It doesn't matter, that boy is an important asset of Nerv. If you are to continue resisting, I will take him by force"
He says in a stoic threatening voice, but the Herrscher of Thunder is not intimidated by him.
Mei:"Important asset? From what I know, he never trained to become an EVA pilot and he never knew anything. You want him for something, that is important for you and you are willing to sacrifice your own son to reach that goal"
Gendo:"..."
Mei:"Plus it seems that the Angels are all gone, unless there is one more? As long as I, Kiana, Bronya and Anti-Entropy are still breathing, he will not work for Nerv. Good Bye"
In a flash of crimson lighting she disappears, the Wunder appears from the clouds hovering above the now alone Gendo Ikari as he reaches the edge of anger and he screams in rage, cursing destiny from not letting him win.

Mei lays Shinji next to Kiana, she caress Shinji cheek a look of sadness appears on Mei's face and then she leans closer to Shinji and kisses him. She stands up and walks away and without looking back she says.
Mei:"Goodbye Kiana-chan, Goodbye Shinji-kun and take care you two"
Hours Later.
Shinji:*Gasp!*
Shinji eyes open wide open, he looks at the ceiling and instanly recognizing it. He is at the Hyperion, he gets up wondering how did he get here suddenly he notices something odd on his lips he puts one of his fingers on his lips he takes it away and a sweet fragance enters his nostrils.
Shinji:"It smells like Mei-san"
