In the streets of Salt Lake City, we see Shinji Ikari wearing some casual clothing, just a simple white dress shirt, and dark blue pants. He seems to be waiting for someone, then hands pokes his back and he suddenly gets scared.
Shinji:"Gyah!"
He turns around and sees both Durandal and Rita wearing very casual clothes and not their battlesuits.

Shinji:"You two scared me"
Rita:"Sorry for scaring you Shinji-sama"
The young man sighs and composes himself and he then asks the two S-rank Valkyries a question.
Shinji:"By the way, I want to ask you two..."
He then shows them his phone and there was a message by Durandal with the message asking him to go out with them.
Shinji:"It's just so weird that you two would ask me to hang out, I thought it was a trap by Otto"
Durandal:"The Overseer doesn't know about this"
This leaves Shinji stunned.
Shinji:"Wait what?"
Durandal:"The Overseer only knows that we are on a break, also Rita wanted to check on you so I decided to tag along to see you as well"
Shinji rubs the back of his head.
Shinji:"I see..."
Durandal:"So how about you show us around the city?"
Shinji:"Ah... is it alright for me to show you around, I have been here for a while but..."
He started to get nervous since he was going to be alone with two of the most beautiful and strongest women he has ever met, though he shouldn't get shy around Rita since she has known her when he was younger. The problem was that Shinji lost all memory of most of his childhood after the Contact Experiment and he is still trying to piece together most of his memories.
Durandal and Rita then grab both of his hands, Shinji would look at the two women smiling at him.
Durandal:"Shinji-san, you are good enough so please don't think down of yourself"
