Ace X Reader ((Heart No Kuni No Alice))

The White Rabbit and yourself walked through the Heart Castles large rose garden as the time period changed from morning to midday. You spoke with Peter about his job as the Prime Minister while rose petals floated through the air, but being here with the white haired rabbit wasn't the reason behind you suddenly showing up at the castle's gates.

You originally stopped by the Clock Tower and asked Julius if he had seen the Knight of Hearts lately. But, as you expected, that pesky Knave hasn't even shown his face around the Clock Tower in over twenty time periods. Thanking the Clock Maker, you reluctantly left his territory and headed for the Castle of Hearts.

As soon as you had walked into the castle and started heading for the Queens chambers to ask the whereabouts of her Knight, the White Rabbit had somehow already found and whisked you off to the rose gardens. Thankfully you could actually tolerate him unlike that perverted Mad Hatter and his troublesome subordinates. Honestly, those four Roleholders freaked you out more than Peter, Boris, and Gowland combined.

"___, wasn't there something you wanted to ask when you first arrived at the castle?" Peter asked while you both continued to walk through the crimson colored garden.

"I was actually wanting to ask you and Vivaldi if either of you had seen Ace recently?" You said back to him.

"That useless Knave hasn't shown his disgusting face around here in at least forty time periods so please don't concern yourself with that idiot." He said back to you sweetly with a gentle smile that completely contradicted his venomous words. Then as you watched the White Rabbit curiously, rustling in the bushes behind you suddenly snapped you out of your trance.

"Ahaha~ Your words are as deadly as ever Peter!" Ace said with a bright smile as he stepped out of the bushes and walked towards yourself and the Roleholder that stood next to you. The Knight gave you a wink as him and Peter started to argue and call each other stupid names.

That wink always meant that something interesting was about to happen.

Your heart started to race with anticipation as Ace slowly inched towards you. The second Peter had changed the large clock he wears around his shoulder into it's pistol form and aimed it at the Knight in front of you both, Ace quickly picked you up bridal style and darted away from the White Rabbit. Shooting like a wild man, or in this case a wild rabbit, Peter chased and kept up with Ace as he ran through the garden with you in his arms.

After a few more minutes of running and dodging many bullets, Peter finally gave up on chasing after you and the Knight as you both disappeared into the forest right outside of the castle's walls. You didn't even know that either of these two Roleholders could run that fast until now.

You'll never be able to escape the Castle of Hearts if you had to out run those two, escape was useless...

"I didn't know you were so close with Peter, ___." Ace said in a somewhat serious tone as he walked through the forest with you still in his arms.

"You're mistaken because I am not close with that Prime Minister." You responded as you looked up at his profile.

"Then why were you having a 'romantic' walk with him in the rose garden?" He asked with sarcasm and jealousy twisted and entwined through his words.

You stayed quiet and let your head rest against his chest. The ticks of his clock were easily heard with your ear pressed right up against his chest like this. Speaking to him and trying to defend yourself wasn't going to get you no where with this Knight and so that's why you remained silent.

"You're mine ___ and I'm not going to let that stupid White Rabbit steal you away from me." Ace declared in a dark tone.

Wait, did he just tell you that you're his...?

"I'll kill anyone that tries to steal you away so you better not get close to anyone except for me, ___."

"And when did I become yours Ace?" You asked him with a small smile on your face. For a while now you've known you liked this Knight. Even if he is a bit of a yandere and is a real idiot sometimes, you still couldn't help but to fall for him.

"Do you not like me?" The brunette asked with his usual playful tone as he gently set you down on the ground and looked down slightly so he could look into your eyes.

"Of course I do idiot, why else would I willingly go to the Heart Castle to find you if I didn't?"

Ace just smiled as he bent down a bit and kissed your forehead. Being hugged by him was usual, but he never once showed any real affection towards you so this was a first. But, now that you know he feels the same way about you, you did the one thing you've been dying to do for a while now.

Going up on your tip toes and pulling the collar of his knights coat downward, you forcefully smashed your lips against his. Needless to say you had completely caught Ace off guard which was definitely an achievement for an Outsider like yourself.

"Now that you're officially mine Ace," You whispered breathlessly as you both pulled away for air. "No way are you aloud to get lost anywhere without me being there along side you."

"Hm~ So does that mean you don't want to ever leave me side ___?" The Knight said with a very amused and cheeky smile.

You pulled on his collar and kissed him again just so you didn't have to admit to what he had said. Being in a relationship with this brain dead Knight would probably only get you into trouble, but you didn't care. Being with Ace meant your life would never be boring and he would always be there to protect you so loving him, in your eyes, was the best decision you could had ever made.

Finally I'm on spring break so that means I'll actually have some time to write these one shots! But that also means I'll be really lazy so please bare with me you lovely people! As always, thank you for reading and be sure to request who you want to see next or simply leave some random comment.~
