Dedicated to @Blue_Mist2000 I am so sorry love that this took so long to get published. I've been sick and I have an eating disorder which makes me sick for weeks at a time and of course when I'm like this, I'm practically brain dead... Anyway, that's not an excuse and I'm sorry for the delay! Hope you enjoy the story, I made it longer as an apology for making you wait. ^-^
~Kat <3Riding in the back seat of Natsume's car while Ema sat in the front, the orange haired game developer drove you both to his brother's basketball game. Todays game against a rival college that beat Meiji University the last time they played and now it was time to see if Meiji could get revenge for their past loss. You couldn't wait to see which team would win tonight and there was also a certain basketball player you were wanting to see as well.
The adorable thing was always a little to shy to talk to you, but he always tried to be nice instead of avoiding you like he does with Ema's other female friends. Ever since you had first started going over to Sunrise Residence, he's been the only brother to go out of their way to be nice to you. Of course the others didn't treat you poorly since you were their beloved sister's best friend. But it was very obvious to you that they only treated you so kindly was since they wanted to score more points with their sister.
Even as you ride in the back seat of Natsume's car, you can tell that he keeps trying to make small talk with Ema while he doesnt' even spare you a second glance.
The black haired basketball player was the only one that saw you as a human being and not some playing card that could get them closer to the innocent brunette that was your best friend. That's probably why he's become one of your favorite brothers out of all thirteen of them. He's sweet, shy, smart, athletic, absolutely adorable, the list goes on and on so what isn't there to like about him?
"We're here." Natsume's voice said from the front seat, snapping you out of your thoughts.
The orange haired man was already out of the car and opening the door for Ema as you began getting out. He didn't even open your door which just goes to show that he's just trying to get your best friends attention and not trying to be a gentleman like Iori usually is.
You walked behind Ema and Natsume as they led you into Meiji university and around the large campus. They both kept talking to each other and completely ignored your presence entirely. You knew that Ema wasn't doing that on purpose since she can honestly be a little blind sometimes, but you sure knew that Natsume wasn't like that and so he was just doing it so he wouldn't have to share his little sister with you.
Rude much?
With a small sigh escaping your lips, you decided to go and do a little bit of exploring before the game began and so you turned down a different hallway from Ema and Natsume so you could make your escape. None of the brothers, including Natsume, are treating you badly out of pure spite but rather they're doing it for the wrong reasons and so that's why every once in a while, you just want to get away from the brothers and have some time to your self. The only exception to this rule is the black haired basketball player since he treats you right and not like an obstacle that he needs to pass.
A small voice in the back of your head was saying that you should go back and find Ema and Natsume since the brunette would probably start panicking over where her best friend had gone, but in the end, you decided to ignore the voice and to continue down random hallways. Her orange haired older brother would probably keep her occupied and everything so you couldn't care less about returning only to become the third wheel again.
"___-chan?" A guy's voice asked from behind you.
"Suba-kun!" You sang happily as you turned around to get a look at the black haired guy in his basketball uniform.
