Mikaze Ai X Reader Part 1 ((Uta No Prince Sama))

He was just another soon to be idol that attended this music academy. No one saw anything special in the teal hair and eye colored boy. All everyone could see was a non-emotional, computer addicted, very secluded boy who aspired to become an idol.

But you saw all the good things that hid behind his seemingly unemotional being.

The way he would analyze everything with such precision and how he would view everything from a logical stand point always had you amazed. It never did bother you when he would be either uninterested or unemotional towards something, it just made it all the more special when he did care.

You weren't very different from him in these aspects. A composer with few friends and a computer that kept you company most of the time was the only way to describe yourself.

A small sigh escaped your mouth as you rested your head against the large trees trunk. There's no telling how long you've been sitting alone under this tree, but the sun was setting which must mean you've been here for at least two hours now...

You couldn't stop thinking about Ai which probably wasn't the best thing to be doing since now was that time of year where composers and idols picked their partners for the final audition tests.

"My research about you told me that you're a composer..." Ai's monotone voice rang out from behind the tree that you were currently sitting against.

"Hello to you to Ai-kun." You responded in the same tone as his.

The tealette boy stayed quiet as he sat down next to you and only left a small bit of space between you both. This was one of the first times he had ever spoken to you first let alone actually made a move to have a conversation with you.

He must have thought of something regarding you and himself, but what?

"I've done some research on the other composers that will be participating in the final audition and none of them seemed to be of use to me..." He whispered as he turned to look directly at you. "But you seem to be the only composer that is capable of making music that would be compatible with my voice."

"Your voice is a unique one." You added on as you turned your head slightly to meet his gaze. Ai's teal eyes seemed to have some sort of emotion hidden behind them that you hadn't seen before. It was an unreadable emotion, but you knew it was there even without understanding it's meaning.

"And so are your compositions, ___-chan." Ai whispered as he seemed to become aware of your close proximity to one another.

You didn't understand how in the world you had managed to keep your voice steady thus far and your nerves at ease. It was rather obvious for yourself to notice that your heart rate had spiked up a considerable amount by just being near the soon to be idol and now he was all of the sudden complementing your composing skills?

It was almost to good to be true.

"___-chan, we need partners for our final audition and I was wanting to know if you would wish to be partners with me?" Ai asked as he actually seemed interested in what you had to say.

That was a first...

"Of course." You responded with the same amount of interest and boredom in your voice.

You and the tealette had a lot in common when it came to being yourselves. Both of you had a shared love for music and somehow both seemed to keep mostly to your socially awkward selves. Your computers seemed to be your life line which only led to you both being even more antisocial and no one could ever read either of your emotions except for the two of you.

But that's ok.

Now with you and him being partners, this was an opportunity for you two to get closer in terms of building up a friendship. You could be antisocial together and feel perfectly comfortable relaxing in silence with each other. Though that silence would be short lived once you started composing for Ai and the idol group that he would later join that currently goes by the name of Quartet Night.

But even with all this crazy stuff you had inevitably gotten yourself into by agreeing to be Ai's composer, something good could come out of it.

Maybe even a forbidden love between you both could blossom...?
