Sakamaki Reiji X Reader ((Diabolik Lovers))

You had always admired him from afar and kept your feelings a secret. He was flawless in everything he did and yet he was so displeased with the world around him.

The five other brothers that lived in this house were probably to blame for some of this. but everyone knew, including yourself, that he was the most displeased with you and your entire existence.

When you would occasionally see him walking around, you would greet him in a formal manner with a small smile. But even though you tried to be perfect and nice for his sake, he would almost always just smack you and walk away.

Other times he would begin to yell at you for something you did wrong. Apologizing to your fullest extent and giving him an apologetic smile, you would make your way to go and fix what ever you did wrong. But in the end you would still be punished.

The constant abuse of the one you had inevitably fallen in love with was beginning to get to you. Wanting to break down in tears because of the way he saw you was becoming more and more tempting, but you would never let him or any of the Sakamaki's see you cry.

Weakness was the one thing you would never let them see and not because you're scared of what they'll do. But because once you break, you fear that you'll never be fixed.

Today was no different than from the rest of the days you had lived inside the vampire house of the Sakamaki brothers.

You had once again seemed to anger Reiji earlier that day with another task you could've sworn you'd done correctly. But you would never dare talk back to the man you had been admiring since you had stepped foot within this mansions walls.

As an apology, you had gone out into the garden full of beautiful flowers and plucked up a single black rose. He was most likely going to punish you for taking a flower out of the garden but you just wanted to make things at least somewhat alright between you two.

Admiring from afar was all you could do since you both lived in completely different worlds. You were nothing but a blood bank to him and his brothers so why would he think of you any differently? But if it was inevitable for you to die at the end of this blood filled story, you at least wanted to make sure that he would forever remember you after you were gone.

Even if it's only for a few seconds every thousand years, he would still remember you and that thought alone is enough to make you take the constant abuse.

You made your way through the house and now stood in front of Reijis room. Softly you knocked on the door and made sure that you didn't cut yourself with the thorns from the rose you currently held.

"Come in." Reiji called out monotonously from inside the room.

With a click of the door knob, you entered his room. Looking around all you could see where his science equipment and books scattered everywhere.

"What is it you want ___-chan?" The vampire man asked from the chair he was currently sitting in that was located in the corner of the room.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you Reiji-senpai but I felt like I needed to apologize for my ignorance earlier." You said almost ashamed as you approached him and held out the black rose.

Reiji got up from his seat and silently took the black rose from your hand. He then ripped it to shreds and threw the shredded contents back at your face along with a direct slap to your cheek.

The slap was harder than any of the ones you had received previous to this event and now you also had cuts all over your face from the thorns. But no matter what happened, you stood their and gave him a small smile.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you Reiji-senpai." You whispered with a smile as your eyes met his gaze.

He looked genuinely furious with you and it seemed that he was about to slap you once again. But then all the anger in his eyes suddenly vanished and a look of worry was then displayed.

Why was he looking at you with such a worried look?

"___-chan, why are you crying?"

You immediately reached up to your cheeks to feel the hot tears that were spilling out of your eyes.

"It's n-nothing to worry about Reiji-senpai." Reiji slowly took off the one glove he wore and wiped away your tears.

Your heart had officially shattered at the moment the rose hit your face so now you felt numb to the core. Not even being touched by the one you love could bring you back from the abyss you had just been so forcefully thrown into.

"I've finally broke you..." Reiji whispered under his breath as you stood there emotionless. "I don't know whether I should be proud or hate myself for what I've done to you."

"It's fine Reiji-sen-"

"Do you know why I've been treating you so poorly?" He cut you off as you shook your head no. "It's because you showed me kindness and love."

Confusion and maybe a bit of pain showed on his face which seemed to bring you a little bit back to your senses. Never had you seen him act in such a way so why now?

"You showed me the two things I had never been shown before and I didn't know how to handle it. Your smile never faltered as I hit you which always made me want to hit you more. I would yell at you after you finished doing a task correctly just to see if you would ever fight back, but you didn't. You took my abuse and I don't understand why which only makes me even more furious."

Reiji had been torturing you on purpose. It wasn't out of hate but instead out of confusion. The abuse and torture had finally broken you, but you still loved him.

"I-I took your abuse for the one reason that I knew would inevitably be the d-death of me."

"And what might that be?"

"Love..."

Reiji immediately wrapped his arms around you waist and head as he carefully pulled your to his chest. You stood there lifelessly as he held you so carefully as if you would break in his arms at any moment.

Were you really that fragile to him?

"___-chan, be mine so I can fix you. I love you so let me be the one to help you."

Never had you imagined that those words would be spoken by the second eldest of the Sakamaki brothers. You never thought that you would break either but that seemed to happen as well.

"Ok..." You whispered into his chest. "I love you Reiji."

"I love you to ___ and don't you ever forget it."

The second one shot has been completed! I told you that not all of them would be fluffy with a happy go lucky feel. I'm more of a dark writer so good luck.
