Sakamaki Laito X Reader ((Diabolik Lovers))

"Laito-kun!" You screamed out for him as he suddenly disappeared right in front of your eyes.

A few minutes earlier he told you that he had had enough of you and found someone else that would be more "interesting" for him to play with. He said it with the most serious face that you couldn't believe that what he was saying wasn't just another one of his jokes.

Next thing you knew, you suddenly found yourself in the Sakamaki's mansion which is where you've been living for the past year. Walking around and taking note of everything you passed, small memories started to resurface of all the things Laito and yourself had done. Everytime you walked into a new part of the house, a small after image of yourself and Laito would show up and you would just be watching from a third person point of view.

Walking into the main living room brought back a somewhat scary and yet happy memory. This was where you first met any of the Sakamki's and Laito was the first to find you wandering about the mansion. You willingly walked into their home because you were curious to see if this place was abandoned or not. But by doing so, you got caught up with the fedora wearing vampire and he immediately found you to be interesting.

You on the other hand were scared to death of him since he flashed you a toothy, fanged smile. It's not like vampires and the supernatural were things you believed to be of make believe, but seeing an actual vampire in real life changed your attitude towards them a bit.

Though you did think that Laito was a cute person even if he was trying to suck your blood then.

Letting out a small and bitter laugh at the memory, you made your way over to the kitchen. Immediately you saw a faded image of yourself attempting to make a cake. You could remember that earlier that day, you had asked Laito when his birthday was. He told you that he couldn't even remember the date since he never really celebrated it. With a new and bright idea in your mind, you went straight to the kitchen to start baking him a cake for the day you had declared as his birthday.

At this point, you knew that you had a crush on the flirty vampire. Though you could never tell if he liked you back or was simply flirting with you for the sake of doing so because he was bored. That wouldn't surprise you at all considering it was Laito, the vampire that's known for messing with all the girls and some guys hearts at Ryoutei Gakuen.

You watched yourself finish the last touches to the cake and then call Laito into the kitchen. He teleported to you at your demand and he immediately started hitting on you as he usually did. Telling him that that's not what you called him for, you redirected his attention to the red velvet cake you had decorated with vanilla frosting.

Laito smiled at you with an adorable smile and leaned down to kiss your cheek. Right after he placed the kiss on your cheek, the image that was replaying the memory faded into nothing.

This went on seemingly forever as you made your way through countless rooms in the Sakamaki's mansion. Anywhere from the bathroom to the garden and even to Kanato's room where you both frequently stole Teddy. Everywhere you walked brought back some of your happiest memories while living here.

When you had first moved in. When you accidently walked in on him taking a shower and nearly got sexually assaulted. When he continuously told you he loved you and you didn't believe him. When you finally believed him and confessed your feelings back to him. All the memories presented themselves here which made you have such a pleasant smile on your face.

But that only made your heart ache more and more as you realized that no more of those memories would be made. Laito already told you that he didn't need you any more for his entertainment and that he didn't care what happened to you.

That's not the Laito you knew, but that's apparently how he saw you. You didn't want to believe it. All you wanted was to be with him and know that your loved by someone in this world. Before you had come to the Sakamaki's mansion, you had no where to go.

All your family up right abandoned you and so did your friends. To this day you don't understand why, but you gave up on questioning it. If no one wanted to love you than maybe you simply didn't deserve it.

But the fedora wearing vampire showed you all the love you were convinced you weren't supposed to receive. He broke those stone walls protecting your heart and completely shattered your composure while making sure to suck your blood in the process.

And now he's gone.

Why did he have to leave you? What did you even do wrong? Why must everyone leave you when you finally get comfortable with them.

Why must you be alone in this cruel world?

"Bitch-chan, wake up.~"

A soft voice rang out from somewhere around you while tears streamed down your face as you turned around to look for your love's voice.

"You're having a nightmare so..."

The voice quieted down and then a warm sensation was placed on your lips. Your eyes fluttered open to the familiar feeling only to be met with a pair of emerald eyes that were very close to you.

"Wake up."

You found yourself lying in your bed within the Sakamaki's mansion with a certain shirtless fedora wearing vampire lying on his side next to you. He gave you a soft smile as he watched you stare at him with silent tears running down your cheeks.

Laito didn't say anything as he gently wrapped his arms around and pulled your body close to his. You rested your head against his broad chest as he gently stroked your hair until you had calmed down.

"I'm not going to leave you ___ so there's no need for you to cry." Laito whispered in a calming yet reassuring voice.

"Even though you're a vampire?" You asked him back shyly.

"Even though I'm a vampire. I love you and I'm not going to let some pesky human or another vampire have you so just go back to sleep Bitch-chan.~"

You did as he said and relaxed in his arms until you fell back to sleep and found yourself in a pleasant dream instead of the nightmare you had before. The green eyed vampire stared at you as you slept and placed a soft kiss on the top of your head.

"I'll find a way to make you one of us and then we'll never have to separate..." he whispered to your sleeping form.

"I love you ___."
