Dedicated to @Spicegirl42 Thank you for requesting! ^-^

After a long night at school with the Sakamaki brothers, you finally had some time to yourself. Once the limo had brought all of you home to their estate, Subaru insisted on going to his room and you haven't seen him since. Reiji is currently in his lab doing some research over something while Shu is off sleeping somewhere within the mansion. Kanato is singing Scarborough Fair on the balcony at the very top of the mansion and no one knows where in the world Laito ran off to once he had left the limo earlier.

With all the brothers doing their own thing, you simply decided to take a seat on one of the couches in the main living room. Right before school had ended, Ayato approached and pretty much ordered you to wait for him back at the mansion since he had some things he needed to attend to. He didn't give you much room to argue with him on his decision, but it's not like you were going to turn him down anyway.

You loved spending time with him even though he constantly called you chichinashi. Cooking takoyaki's with him, watching him play basketball when he had dragged you to the court and the both of you ended up skipping class together, even helping him with his mathematics homework because he's absolutely hopeless in the subject made you happy. Everything you did with him had you feeling not as lonely anymore.

When you were first brought to the Sakamami's mansion as the next prospective or in more realistic terms, sacrificial bride, you couldn't had felt more loneliness and fear in that single moment. And once Reiji had told you about how the last girl who's name was Komori Yui died in this very mansion, you couldn't help but for those feelings to dramatically intensify.

But Ayato saw something in you.

He protected you from his brothers and made sure to keep you in his sights at all times. Though you appreciated him doing this, you couldn't help but wonder if he was only doing this because he saw you more of a replacement Yui and he didn't want to lose her for the second time. But if you were being of some use by keeping him company then you didn't really care to know his reasoning behind his actions.

"Bitch-chan.~" Laito cooed as he suddenly appeared behind you and the couch.

"Oh, hello Laito-kun." You said sweetly back to him as he moved to sit down next to you on your left.

"Hmm~ You've gotten very used to us vampires haven't you?"

"Well I have been living here for a good six months so it's only natural that I would grow accustomed to you and your brothers..."

"How could any of us forget that you've lived here for so long! After all, ever since you arrived you've had all of us wrapped around that little pinkie of yours."

You just laughed at his words. Laito had warmed up to you just as quickly as Ayato had making him a very close friend of yours. But he wasn't the one who had captured your heart in a steel trap made by the devil himself.

"Oi, chichinashi belongs to ore-sama so get away from her you perverted bastard." Ayato growled as he suddenly appeared out of no where and grabbed your hand, pulling you up from the couch and to his chest.

"Now now Ayato, I don't need to steal her since she's already mine.~" Laito gave you a wicked smirk as he got up from the couch and started walking towards the stairs that were in the opposite direction from Ayato and yourself. "But for tonight, I suppose I'll let you have her."

With a click of his tongue, Ayato's grip on your hand tightened as he sat you back down on the couch. The next thing you knew, the red headed vampire was hovering over you while he kept hold of your hand in a tight grip. In one swift motion Ayato had already manage to sink his fangs into the side of your neck and drink your crimson blood to the point you could feel your touch on reality slowly vanishing.

"You belong to ore-sama and nobody else." He growled against your skin as a small trickle of your dark blood ran down the side of his lips.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." You said almost lifelessly as your eye sight started to dim.

Ayato gave you one last devilish smirk as he noticed you slowly drifting into unconsciousness. But that all to wicked smile was then replaced with a depressed and sympathetic one as he looked deeply into your eyes and reached into his uniforms jacket pocket. He pulled out a beautiful necklace that had the black string wrapped around a garnet gemstone.

You were already to far out of it to try and speak or move as he gently wrapped his arms around your slightly bleeding neck and carefully placed the necklace around your neck. Ayato had never given you a present so this was the first time he had ever showed any type of affection towards you.

"I love you ___-chan and I will protect you like I should had done with the first chichinashi." Ayato whispered out as you finally lost all consciousness and fell down to the dark depths of the abyss that awaited you.
