This was supposed to be posted yesterday. Idrk why I didn't publish it, I just forgot. xD
Those of you who don't know who he is, he is the actor that played Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies. Quite perfectly, might I add.
And it's his 69th birthday! Omfg!
Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors, because not many people could so convincingly play such a complex character. Snape had to be creepy, mean, but had to have an underlying level of kindness and depression. Somehow, Alan Rickman pulled it off, and I am just amazed by him.
When I read the series, I had this specific picture in my head of what Snape would look like. As soon as I saw him in the first movie, I was so excited! Mr Rickman perfectly portrayed him, and fit my image exactly.
You don't understand what a respect I have for him. In all of his movies, he's incredible.
So... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALAN RICKMAN! Thank you so much for making me cry for Snape! Not just any actor could play a character with such excellency and success! SLAY!
