-chapter 7-

Cruel, empty days. 

Miguel.

That's the only thing in your head right now. 

Miguel.

It's been two days since the school fight, two horrible days even more horrible with knowing Miguel is in a coma.

The world without him? Nothing. Just a place of dirt. Sadness, anger, fear and just an empty world. Without him the world means nothing to you. 

You've only spent the days in your bed. You ate there and slept there. 

Right now you hear your dad walking up the stairs. You're laying under your sheets. He enters the room. 

 "please don't talk to me please don't talk..." you think.

"hey y/n. me and your mom are worried about you. don't you wanna go for a walk outside?"

You don't answer. You're not in the mood. 

"Anyways, here's your food"

He puts a tray with a sandwich, an apple and orange juice on your night stand and says

"We're going to the supermarket now. Do you need anything?"

No respond. He leaves the room and a few minutes later you hear your parents leave the house.

Then the doorbell rings. 

y/n's POV: I think I need to open the door. Maybe it's Carmen. I rap up of my bed and slowly walk downstairs. I open the door. It's Daniel LaRusso. Behind him I can see Johnny Lawrence, Miguel's Sensei, in his car. I thought they were enemies? 

"Hi y/n, Robby has told me a lot about you. Since the fight he ran away and Johnny and I will search him now"

That's why he doesn't recieve my texts.

"Since you're his girlfriend we thought you could join us" Mr. LaRusso continues.

"No" you answer. "He's the reason why Miguel's in a coma". 
Mr. LaRusso looks a bit upset.

"Give him a chance" 

You nod a no and slam the door.

Johnny's POV: 

I see how y/n slams the door. Woah, she's wild.. I like that! She would be a good one for Cobra Kai. I see Daniel coming and he looks quite sad. I have to admit that it's good that y/n doesn't join us. She belongs to Miguel. Daniel enters the car.

"No chance" he says and shrugs. I smirk. Damn I'm hungry I wanna eat some nuts.

2 days later:

y/n's POV: I can't stand this anymore. I need to see him or I'll go insane. 

You haven't got your drivers license yet but you sneak out of the house, take your fathers car and drive to the hospital. Luckily you arrive safely. That's when you jump out of the car, lock it and run into the hospital. You feel something like a magnet which's like attracting you. There's a tension in the air and you NEED to see Miguel. Even tho you're a bit worried to see him in a coma...

Arrived in the hospital you're out of breath. You head to the reception and ask for Miguel Diaz.

"Are you a family member?" a nurse asks.

"No?" you answer. 

"I'm sorry but family members only in the ICU"

"I am his best friend and he technically needs me to get well!" you say.

"Family members only in the ICU" she repeats.

Shit. You run to the restroom and lock yourself in one of the cabins. You've lost so much strength the last few days so you directly start to cry.

"I can not give up now" you think. Suddenly you feel as much stronger as 1 second ago and leave the toilet. Out of there you look for the ICU. There are some signs but nowhere a sign that leads there. You go left and spot some more signs. There is it! You quickly follow the sign and try to be inconspicuous.

There he is. You can see him trough the window of the door. Miguel.

You enter the room quietly. Wow. You try to hold back your tears but you can't stop them. He lays there with his eyes closed, a damaged face and he just looks so exhausted. You step forward to get closer to Miguel.

"Hello y/n"

You frighten. Next to you is Johnny. You hadn't noticed him before cause you were focused at Miguel.

"Uh sorry, I didn't notice you" you say wiping away your tears. "How did you get here? FamIly MeMBers OnlY!" 

"Well, that's a long story. I could ask you the same" he smiles. 

"Also we should speak to him. He can hear us I think and maybe that helps him to wake up faster" Johnny says.

You sit down on the bed and take his hand.

"Hey Miguel, it's y/n. I love you" that's all you can say because you're interrupted of your tears.

Then all of sudden Miguel presses your hand.

"OMG he just pressed my hand!" you jump in the air and look  at Johnny who smiles brightly. You hug him. 

"I needa tell you something" he says when you get out of the hug.

You listen.

"Once Miguel came to my apartment and knocked on the door because he wanted to talk to me. It was the day before he flew to Ecuador. We sat down on the couch and suddenly he told me everything: 

'I love Tory. But there's something very very strong between me and y/n. Like a tension. I mean she's my best friend but I can feel something different. I know Tory is my girlfriend but I don't feel the same way with her. It is so complicated I don't really know what's up with me'

 That's what he said. I told him to do what he thought was right and the next day he told you that he loves you. I think you're supposed to be together. I know you're currently dating my son but I was never there for him and I screwed up everything. I am a bad father. Robby is a very very good person but he's still in pain what's my fault and no one knows what that's gonna do with him... You know the fight at school and-" he cuts off.

"and what?" you ask.

"and your relationsship"

y/n's POV: Wow. I'm shocked. That's what Miguel told him about me? I gotta admit that I feel exactly the same! I love Robby but not the same as Miguel. I don't know what that thing between us is neither but I know it's there.
