-chapter 15-

The next day at school:

y/n's POV: I walk down the hallway, looking for Tory. "Hey y/n, what's up" I see Demitri walking next to me so I walk faster and ignore him. "y/n?" he starts running and grabs my shoulder but I reject him. I don't even look back, my mind is focused on finding Tory. And there she is. She is standing at her locker and putting books into it. Then she closes her locker and flashes a glance at me. I fake laugh and walk over to her.

"Tory"

"y/n"

"I don't want to talk that much so... Why did you kiss Miguel?"

She chuckles. "Maybe because he's my boyfriend?"

"He. is. not. your. boyfriend. anymore!" I think I'm overreacting...

"He IS"  Tory comes closer.

"He doesn't love you! He loves ME!"  I think that was a bit too much...

bang.

Her fist in my face and I can feel that my nose starts bleeding. I lift my arm and punch her in the face. Then she shoves me, I shove her back. She grabs my hand and throws me on the ground. My arm smashes on the ground and starts hurting horribly. I cannot stand up. Suddenly the security, which's been arranged after the school fight, grabs Tory by her arms and pulls her back. A teacher screams "That shouldn't be happening!" . That's when I see black.

I wake up in a hospital bed. It's being pushed trough the hallway by a doctor.  What happened?

"Oh, you're awake!"  he says and stops pushing the bed. The doctor gets in front of me. "You broke your arm and just had an operation! You haven't noticed anything because you were unconscious. I will bring you into your room now"

"Oh" that's the only thing I can answer because I'm pretty weak and tired.

He continues walking and pushes my bed into a room. 

"That's your roommate Miguel"

I tilt my head and there lays Miguel in his bed. The doctor places my bed next to the wall. Miguel is to my right side. He looks at me and smiles. The doctor leaves the room, I look at the plaster on my left arm.

"Nice plaster. Should I sign it?" he chuckles.

I look at him but then back at it.

"y/n?"

Silence.

"y/n, what's the matter?"

Still silence.

"C'mon, talk to me"

"You kissed Tory and now stop talking"

"Ah shit-" he whispers.

I look at the wall and a tear drops out of my eye. But then I fall asleep.

Miguel's POV:

Damn.. I should have never allowed Tory to visit me. But how does y/n know? I love her. Shoot I  screwed up everything!!

"y/n?" I say but then I notice that she's sleeping.

"y/n, wake up please"

Then she turns around and looks at me. I look deeply into her eyes.

"y/n, I really love you. But I understand if you don't love me. I just want to make this clear. Tory always came to visit me. I didn't even want her to come. And the last time she came, she- She kissed me"

y/n still looks at me but says nothing. Then she looks at the ceiling and then back to me.

"Robby called me and- and told me that he saw you because he was in the hospital too" her eyes get watery.

Damn Robby. He doesn't even know the whole truth... He didn't see me pushing Tory away!

All of sudden y/n says "By the way, Tory is the one who broke my arm!" 

Wow. But that's not surprising after what she did to Sam.

"I'm sorry" I say. She doesn't answer.

Silence.

Suddenly she says "Look, Miguel.. I- I love you too. I was so upset when I heard about you and Tory and then I was overreacting and I-" she starts crying.

"Hey, stop, calm down. It's ok. I screwed up with this and you can be mad at me your whole life"

"But I don't want to be mad at you my whole life!" she says and wipes her tears away. I look at her.

"What do you want?"

"I want-" y/n says "I want to be able to trust you and when I can trust you I want to-" then she stops. 

"You want to?"

"Nothing. It's fine"
