-chapter 8-

You barely slept last night. But exceptionally because of a good thing: You were just thinking about what Johnny told you in the hospital. What Miguel told him about you and that Miguel pressed your hand. May be a good sign. "I hope he wakes up soon" you think.

The first time you go downstairs in the morning to eat breakfast since the fight. Normally your parents brought you breakfast because you laid in your bed under the sheets all day...

When you enter the kitchen your Mom is surprised but also happy. 

"Good morning y/n. Nice to see you!" she hugs you.

"Will you go to school today? I mean you don't need to if you aren't ready yet" she says rapidly.

"I will" you answer confidently.

Now she's even more surprised. You go back upstairs, take a shower and change clothes. After that your Mom drives you to school. When you're arrived in front of the building she looks at you and asks once again

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes Mom"

You kiss her cheek, leave the car and head to the school. Now they have something like a security check before anyone is allowed to enter. They check you and you go inside.

y/n's POV:

There are the stairs. The stairs Miguel fell down. I start feeling insecure. While walking everyone stares at me. They're probably gossiping about me. 

There's Demetri! Finally a nice person. I walk over to him.

"Hey Demetri"

He turns around.

"Oh hey y/n! How are you?"

"Well, I'm alright I think. Wby?"

"I'm literally praying for Miguel all day although I'm not religious. Sooo I think I'm insane but ok" he smirks. There he is. Demetri and his humor. I'm happy to see him. He distracts me from thinking about what happened here so it's easier for me to go through the day.

"What's your first period?" he then asks.

"Uhm..." I look at my timetable "It's biology" I continue.

"Cool, looks like we gotta slit a pigs heart now. My first period is also biology!" he says happily. He looks at me and we start walking trough the crowd to the lab.

Until now the day back at school after the fight has been really good. You're currently sitting in the cafeteria eating lunch with Demetri. Hawk is not with you because Demetri and him are in a fight since Demetri is at Miyagi-Do and Hawk at Cobra Kai. 

Back home you're relieved that you did it. The first day back at school. At some points it was difficult because the scenarios returned into your head when you were walking along the hallways but you did it! With Demitris help.

Suddenly your phone rings. You accept the call.

"Hey y/n. It's Robby..."

Shit. That's not his phone number he's calling with! Otherwise you'd declined the call. You think about hanging up but then you say

"Hello"

"I'm sorry about everything. I-" he wants to keep talking but you cut him off.

"You're sorry?! SORRY but you're the reason why my best friend is in a coma. IN A COMA!! Nobody knows if he'll ever wake up again. He showed mercy and all what you did is bump him down the stairs!" your eyes fill with tears.

"Look y/n I made a mistake! I was jealous because I thought there was something between you and him and I overreacted! I can't talk to you so long because... Because I'm in jail, Daniel and Johnny found me. I want you to visit me. Plea-"

You hang up.
