The sweet, sentimental moment that Loki and Y/n were having ended quicker than expected, because soon after Loki had held Y/n close to his chest, Thor came bursting through the door.

"There you are! Do you know how worked up you got the Man of Iron, Loki?! What were you thinking when you just decided to teleport away from us all like that?!", exclaimed Thor.
Loki rolled his eyes as he watched Thor stumble towards him. "You are such a baboon, brother. I merely just wanted little Y/n to consider staying here with me on Asgard, but we decided that-...", Loki was quickly interrupted. "You cannot keep Y/n here! That falls under 'kidnapping' Loki! She has a life back on Earth! As well as school and-....u-um-...well whatever else human children do!!", shouted Thor.

"And you don't think I know that you moron? Maybe instead of speaking while I'm in the middle of a sentence, you'd learn that I wasn't going to keep her here!", yelled Loki. He felt bad for raising his voice so high. He keeps forgetting how tiny Y/n is and that she's sensitive to the constant yelling Loki and Thor do all the time. Her eardrums probably hurt by now after that. Loki looked down at Y/n, who was cupped in his hands and pressed against his chest still. "Forgive me, my little dove. I did not mean to be so loud", said Loki sincerely. He lowered his voice down for her.
Y/n released her tight grip on Loki's shirt and looked up at him. "I-It's okay, Mr. Loki", she said smiling away. Loki returned the sweet smile back while gently caressing Y/n's hair.

Even though Loki's attention was solely on Y/n, he saw Thor take a step forward towards him out of the corner of his eye. "Do not come any closer to me", said Loki. He tenderly slid Y/n into his one hand and used the other to conjure up a dagger, pointing the weapon straight at Thor.
"I am in no mood for Y/n to be taken away from me at the moment. I will send her back to Earth. Not you", said Loki in a low, threatening voice. He wasn't going to hand Y/n over without putting up a fight. Loki had finally gained her trust back. So there was no way he was ready to say goodbye just yet.

"Reindeer games!!", shouted a voice. Loki, Thor, and Y/n turned their heads to see Tony standing in the doorway. Sweat was dripping down his forehead, his face was a brilliant red color, and it almost looked like he was about to have a heat stroke. "I have been running around this castle now for the past 30 minutes! You made me get my workout in earlier than I expected to today", Tony paused, trying to catch his breath while also trying to stay balance so that Peter wouldn't fly off of his hand.

Loki rolled his eyes as he stared at Tony. He had never seen such a sad mortal before. "Pathetic", mumbled Loki in a sarcastic tone. "Zip it, Shakespeare. Hand Y/n over right now", threatened Tony. He couldn't stand seeing Y/n with Loki any longer. Loki grinned and pressed Y/n even closer to his chest. "I am a god. I do not take orders from a mere mortal. Well-....except from this little one right here", said Loki. He used the tip of his finger and gently tickled Y/n's side. "S-Stop that tickles, M-Mr. Loki!", she said as she laughed away.

"Stark please. Don't you see that Loki means no harm to her? If this sight before you doesn't change your mind, then I don't know what will", said Thor with pleading eyes.

Tony had completely blocked out Thor's question. He was too focused on the scene that was playing out before him. "Thor, do something! Tell that brother of yours to stop this Mr. Nice Guy facade and give us Y/n back so we could go home! Because I'm about to do something that no one here will like", said Tony. He was starting to lose his temper. The fact that Loki, the guy who had killed hundreds of people and tried taking over the Earth, was cradling Y/n like a baby was more than enough to get under Tony's skin. "Stark, I-....I-I cannot do that. Y/n has brought Loki so much happiness since they first met. He has changed, Stark. Please believe me", said Thor.

Thor honestly didn't know what else to say or do that would make Tony realize that Loki wasn't the same Asgardian he was during the New York Attack. "Loki, I'm gonna give you til' the count of three to put Y/n down on the table beside you. Then I want you to back away from her. If you don't do that, then you leave me no choice but to-....", Tony was quickly interrupted by Loki. "To what, Stark? Forcefully take her from me? Blast me with one of your useless guns? You do know that will scare her, yes? This small one has been through enough the way it is. But I suppose that is your goal here. Take the only being in the nine realms that I've ever grown attached to away from me because by Odin, we cannot let Loki be happy for once!"
