"You aren't too bad yourself, ol' reindeer games", Tony said, throwing his head back as he laughed when Loki rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"Must you call me that? I was certain that since we are friends now, you would resort to the normal action of-...oh I don't know-...calling me by my actual name perhaps", Loki said, inquiring that Tony should give up the annoying nicknames.
"Are you kidding?! How could I ever stop calling you that? I've got a lot of another nicknames I can call you if you want me to give 'reindeer games' a break. There's rock of ages, a full-tilt diva-...", Tony said, using his fingers to count the names and getting ready to list a whole slew of names he had in store, but Loki was quick to put a stop to it by putting his thumb over Tony's mouth, smirking when the little man smacked his finger away."Goodness, you're such a tiny spitfire, aren't you? It's the only way to get you to shut up. What else am I supposed to do? Maybe I can smother you against my chest. Then you wouldn't be able to mutter out a single word", Loki said, ruffling Tony's hair around with his finger and laughing away when Tony tried to fix his now messed up hair.
But the second Loki pulled his finger away from Tony's head, he watched as his friend's eyes widened with what seemed to be a look of fear.
"Stark? What's the matter?", Loki asked, chuckling as he lightly poked Tony in the stomach, but he got no response from the small human in his palm.Okay, now Loki was worried.
"T-Tony? Are you alright?", Loki asked, sounding incredibly concerned and genuine in the way he spoke now to him. The guy was visibly shaking! What on Earth was Tony thinking about that was making him so scared all of a sudden?
"You aren't scared of me, are you? I-...I'm not going to smother you! That was a mere jest! If-...If you are scared, just know that I'm not going to hurt you. We're-...friends now! And friends don't hurt each other, yes?", Loki asked, ducking his head down a bit to meet Tony's terrified looking gaze. "Is this because I messed up your hair? That's an easy fix!", Loki exclaimed, using his free hand to snap his fingers together. In the blink of an eye, Tony's hair was back to the way it had been before Loki had messed it up.
"Voilà! See? All better", Loki said, smiling as he raised his chin in the air like the sassy, giant god he was."Loki you have to hide", Tony said out of nowhere, catching Loki off guard at this weird request.
"What? What do you mean-...", Loki began to ask, but was interrupted by Tony when the man made eye contact with him, standing up on shaky legs as he frantically looked around in the sky, almost like he was searching for something.
"You have to hide! Somewhere out of sight, Loki please! I forgot that he was coming-...", Tony said, his voice barely a whisper. It was a surprise that Loki even heard what Tony had just said with how quiet he was being."Who? Who's coming? Tony, please, you're making me nervous with the way you're acting. Are you feeling alright?", Loki asked, gently touching Tony's forehead with his fingertip to check for a fever.
"Get that big digit off of me and hide!", Tony exclaimed, pushing Loki's finger off of his forehead, his attention solely on Loki now as he gave him a pleading look.
"Why do I have to hide? Is this another mortal game I'm not aware of? Seek and Hide? No, no wait-...Hide and Seek! Is that what it's called? I must say I thought you were childish before, but now I really believe it", Loki said, chuckling at the thought of Tony wanting to play a mortal children's game."Director Fury is coming, Loki!", Tony yelled, throwing his hands over his mouth the moment he let the sentence slip out. His stomach dropped when that once bright and happy look on Loki's face faded away, replaced by what was a death glare now.
"What? You-...You betrayed me? Is that why you wanted to bring me here to Earth? So I can be some prisoner again? Have I not suffered a great deal already?!", Loki yelled, causing Tony to flinch and lose his balance on the large hand he stood on, falling on his bum in the center of Loki's palm.
"No! I-...pl-please let me explain", Tony said, practically begging now as he got onto his knees and stared into Loki's large, green orbs.
