Thor and Tony stared at the unconscious body of Loki. He laid on his stomach, his arms were sprawled out on the sides of him and his raven black hair was a mess. Tear stains on his cheeks were visible as well. It was as if he were still awake and aware of what was going on, because a few stranded tears were still trickling down from his eyes. Loki had let Y/n get taken away from him and before he had lost his grip on struggling to keep his eyes open, Loki vowed that he would get her back.
"Stark-...I do not understand as to why you need to bring Loki back to Earth. He has done nothing wrong", said Thor. He had his arms crossed over his chest, trying his hardest not to kneel beside his little brother and check to see if he was okay. His mind couldn't piece together what Stark had in store for Loki. He just hoped it was nothing bad.
"Please, do refresh my memory, but did you ever meet a guy with an eyepatch when you first came to Earth?", asked Stark.
Thor became stumped for a moment, before realizing who Tony was talking about. "Ah yes! The man who wears all black leather clothing and has a pirate eye cloaking device", said Thor."I'm gonna pretend that you didn't say that. Anyways that's besides my point. The pirate-..I mean the guy that I'm talking about...his name is Fury. We've agreed upon taking Loki into custody until further notice", said Stark. He began to walk towards Loki's form, thinking of how he was going to pick him up, but Thor stepped in front of him, holding his arms out, acting as a barricade.
"Now hold on just a minute. Custody? You're taking him as prisoner?", asked Thor in a deep voice. Tony simply nodded, not wanting to speak about what exactly was going to happen to Loki once they were all back on Earth. "He has committed no crimes though, man of iron! An Asgardian is only to be arrested if something wrongful was done. Loki hasn't harmed Y/n or Peter. I'd say he even saw the children as if they were his own with how much he cares for them", said Thor. He slightly turned around to look down at Loki's face. A bruise was starting to form on his forehead from the impact of hitting the floor when he passed out and guilt was starting to creep up on Thor fast."I will not allow you take to my little brother", said Thor standing his ground. Tony simply rolled his eyes and walked over to the table that was beside them. "Yeah, uh, point break that's not happening", said Tony. He put his hands on the table and leaned forward, resting for a moment. 'I gotta think of an excuse so that Thor will help me bring Loki to Earth', he thought to himself.
Thor kept his eyes locked on Tony as he moved to a library table. It's not that he didn't want to believe Tony. He just couldn't trust that Shield was going to be nice towards Loki. Thor couldn't see that happening whatsoever."Thor, hear me out. Shield is just gonna do a simple background check on Loki. They want to find out why he's suddenly acting like a-....oh crap how did Fury word it? Oh!", Tony snapped his fingers together. "They want to know why he's acting like an overprotective single mom. You know what I mean right?", asked Tony.
Thor stared blankly at his friend, trying to register what his ears just heard.
"He's acting borderline motherly towards the kids. I mean come on. The God of Mischief-...the Trickster God-..decided to just take on this parental role towards two human teenagers? You saw how he got when I told him that Y/n needed to go home. The guy went completely haywire! He conjured daggers immediately and went into protective mode faster than I can max out my credit card, which-...has never happened-..but still!", said Tony, holding back a laugh that almost escaped his throat. The anger that had been building up inside Thor was too much for him to handle. His brother's safety was on the line and all Tony could do was make jokes left and right? Thor couldn't take it anymore. Without hesitation, Thor marched straight up to Tony and grabbed him by the neck with his bare hand, lifting him up off the ground.
Tony instinctively grabbed a hold of Thor's wrist with both of his hands, trying to break free of the choke hold he was in.
"Stop using metaphors for a situation like this. This is no laughing matter. My brother's health and emotions are not to be toyed with. What does Fury want with Loki?", asked Thor. Even though Thor was incredibly upset and angry with Tony, you could almost hear the sadness laced within the question he asked. Thor couldn't stand how regretful he would feel if he let Loki go to Earth and then sat back as he got hurt or abused by the humans who worked at Shield.
