Lost Love

Chapter 11

I was sitting on the ground with Caleb beside me. For the first time after so many years I feel so peaceful. I can't deny the fact that I am attracted to Caleb but still I don't want to like a guy who will not reciprocate my feelings. Why will Caleb like a girl like me when he can date any beautiful model. And the other thing is his captivating gray eyes. Is it possible that he is my big bear. No  I don't think so. Big bear was very sweet unlike Caleb who is cold and rude. He never behaved rudely with you! Came a voice in my head. It's true. I was so engrossed in my thoughts I didn't heard Caleb calling my name.

"Emily?" He said tapping on my shoulder.

"Yes?" I asked.

"We should leave now. It will take 1 hour to reach my office and Ryan is messaging me nonstop". He said while giving me his to get up.

I just nod and got up. As soon as my hand touched his hand I felt something inside my body. We both went towards the car and left this beautiful place behind.

"Do you want to eat something" ? Caleb asked breaking the silence.

"No. I don't feel like it". I replied looking out of the window.

"I thought you are foodie". He mumbled to himself which I heard.

"Ofcourse I am. Food is my love. But now I just don't want to eat". I said.

"Everything ok" ?  He asked with concern.

"Yeah". I replied in a low voice.

As we reached at his office I said goodbye to him and went towards my car.

"Emily". Caleb called me.

I turned around and asked "Yes"?

"Are you going to Ryan's party"? He asked.

"Yes. I'll go with Isabelle and Sophie". I replied to him.

"Ok then. See you tonight". He said and left the parking lot.

On my way to home, I called Isabelle and asked her to come to my house so we can go together to which she gladly agreed. After going home I took a nap and then started to get ready for the party.

Now I am sitting on my bed deciding the dress. I am confused between white and navy blue dress. I already did my hair and makeup. Sophie entered my room with Isabelle behind her.

"You are not ready yet". She yelled in an annoyed tone.

"I am confused between these two". I said showing the dresses.

"The blue one". They both said at the same time.

I took the blue dress and went towards the bathroom to get changed. It's a strap dress which ends below knees. I came out and wore my 3 inch stilettos. And grabbed my bag.

"You look so beautiful Em". Sophie and Isabelle complimented me.

"Thanks guys. And you are looking so gorgeous that Michael and Ryan are going to faint". I said making them blush.

We are currently sitting in the car. Isabelle is driving and Sophie sat in the passenger while I am at the back seat. We are singing more like screaming the songs. Soon we reached Ryan house. Its a two storeyed house. When we entered inside we spotted Ryan and went straight towards him.He is standing with Michael and Caleb. They all are wearing casual clothes. Ryan is wearing a navy blue shirt with white Jean's.
Michael is wearing a white shirt , Black Jeans along with a denim jacket. I saw Caleb like this for the first time. I have always seen him in suits. He is looking so hot in Black shirt, black jeans and black leather jacket. Every woman here is swooning over them.

"Welcome to the most amazing party beautiful ladies". Ryan said while hugging each one of us.

"There are lot of people here". I said to him.

"I am a well known personality". He said with a smirk.

"You guys are twinning". Sophie said to me and Ryan.

"I can't believe. Em, you like me this much that you are copying me now". Ryan said.

"In your dreams Ryan". I said and dragged Isabelle and sophie with me.

"I am sorry Isabelle". I told her.

"Why are you saying sorry. I know Ryan's playful nature". She said with a smile.

"Girls.. let's have a drink". Sophie said excitedly.

We were enjoying our drinks when a guy approached Isabelle and asked her to dance to which she denied but I insisted her to go because I want to see Ryan's reaction. And to my surprise, Ryan is glaring at that man. I went to the boys and whispered in Michael's ears "Go and talk to Sophie" to which he nod and excuse himself from us. Now it's just me Ryan and Caleb.

"Ryan, come dance with me". I said while extending my hand forward.

"Sure". He said and took my hand.

Now we are dancing but Ryan is staring behind my back with a pissed expression on his face. I can't believe jealous Ryan is so serious.

"You will kill that guy with your looks". I whispered in his ear.

He look at me wide eyed and shook his head knowing he got caught.

"If you like her than what's the problem"? I asked him.

"She is my best friend's little sister". He said looking down.

"I have always felt something towards her even when we were in high school. You know the feeling when you want to protect and cherish someone. I realized my love for her six months ago. Since then I stopped dating". He completed with small smile.

"If it's true love, give it a chance because it will be worth it". I told him to which he replied with a nod.

Soon our dance ended when I turned around I saw Caleb with a frown. What's with him now.

Six of us are standing in a circle sipping our wine then I heard a familiar annoying voice.

"Caleb baby. I missed you so much". Ashley said hugging Caleb. I felt so jealous seeing them like that.

Caleb pushed her slightly and said

"What's your fucking problem Ashley ? How many times should I tell you that I am not your boyfriend. You were just a fling. And don't you ever call me with those stupid nicknames". Caleb said with a stern voice.

As I was watching them I heard snickering behind me. I turned and saw Sophie and Isabelle trying there best to not laugh but soon as I  made an eye contact with them we burst into laughter.

"What's so funny girls"? Michael asked.

Before we can reply Ashley asked pointing towards me.

"Ryan, why did you invited low people like her"?

"Excuse me. What do you mean by low people. I think you didn't got enough money for your dress. Wait I'll give you more". I said with a smirk.

"You know what. I can't waste my time here with you. I have more important things to do". She said and stormed out fuming.

"What was that" ? Caleb asked.

"I can't believe she just left our party". Ryan said in a shocking tone.

"She doesn't want to get more humiliated". Sophie said with a grin.

"What do you mean by that" ? Michael asked.

"When we were in a cafe yesterday she bumped into Emily and you can see the remaining incident". She said while showing them yesterday's video.

"You did that kiddo". Michael said with a laugh.

"That was so cool Em. You did the right thing".  Ryan said while laughing. Even Caleb was smiling.

"Stop it guys you are making me blush". I said covering my face with my hands to which they laughed even more.

Coming back to New York was my best decision. I made such great friends.
