Chapter 31

After having our brunch me and Caleb went out to buy a gift for Uncle Adam and aunt Olivia. They are having a party tonight as they are celebrating 25 years of togetherness. It feels so good when you spend every day of your life beside your lover. They are so blessed to have such a beautiful relationship. They love each other a lot just like mom and dad.

"Have you decided the gift"? I asked as we reached the mall.

"Yes. We are going to buy new wedding rings for them". Caleb said grinning at me.

"Wedding rings"? I asked in confusion.

"It's their silver jubilee. Today they will again exchange their rings renewing their vows for the rest of their life. So what do you think"? Caleb asked.

"Wow. Its amazing". I said clapping my hands in excitement.

We went into a jewellery store and bought the rings. They were simple and perfect just like them.

Soon the night came. I got ready in Caleb's apartment. As I went out of the room he was busy in typing something on his phone. How can someone look so amazing. He is wearing black shirt and pants along with a gray blazer. I cleared my throat to get his attention. As soon as his eyes landed on me he stopped typing as he was busy in staring at me. I am wearing a red off shoulder dress which ends below my knees.

"Take a picture". I said smirking at him.

"You are looking so gorgeous baby". Caleb said engulfing me in a tight hug. His cologne hit my nose. Damn this man smells so good.

"You don't look that bad". I teased him.

He broke our hug and said arrogantly " I know I am handsome". Oh the great Caleb Williams is back.

"Lets go. I don't want to be late". I said and we left for the party. After 10 minutes we reached the mansion. As we entered inside I saw there were lot of the people present at the party. Many of them are the business associates I met on Saturday. Oh they will remember how Ashley humiliated me.

"Just breathe and enjoy the party". Caleb whispered snaking his arm around my waist.

"Caleb! Emily! You are here". Aunt Olivia came towards us and hugged us.

"Happy anniversary" I wished them both while giving a hug. Caleb did the same.

"You look beautiful princess". Dad said kissing my forehead.

"Thanks dad". I replied.

Then I met Isabelle and Sophie who were standing with their respective partners.

"It's time for your gift". I whispered to Caleb.

"Yeah". He said and grabbed a microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Can I have your attention". Caleb said.

"Happy anniversary mom and dad. I hope your love grow for each other more. To remember that beautiful union me and my girlfriend Emily decided to gift  you both new weddings rings". Caleb said and gave me the microphone to continue. I am nervous this guy just announced in front of everyone that I am his girlfriend. I cleared my throat and started.

"With this new rings you will renew your vows as well. Reliving that moment and promising for the upcoming years". I said smiling at them.

Both of them looked surprised as they were not expecting such gift. They stood near the stairs as they renewed their vows and exchanged rings. Both of them were smiling with tears in their eyes. I was admiring them when Caleb came beside me and held my hand.

"Do you imagine us in the future"? He asked his eyes still on his parents. Caleb wants to spend his life with me. He squeezed my hand to remind me that he is waiting for my answer.

"Yes. It's just you no one else". I said looking at him directly.

He turned his face towards me and we both were drowned in each other's eyes.

"Thanks a lot my babies". Aunt Olivia said and crushed us with a hug.

"Thanks. It really felt amazing to relive that moment". Uncle Adam said.

"It's our pleasure". Caleb said as I just smiled at them.

Will you dance with me"? Caleb extended his hand towards me.

"Ofcourse". I took his hand.

We started dancing on a slow song as Caleb placed his one hand on my bare shoulder sending shivers in my body. My heart started beating fastly due to our close proximity. He just smirked at me because he very well knew how my body reacts to his touch. Soon the song ended and we went back to enjoy our dinner.

After the party we bid our goodbyes and I went with Caleb as he requested me to come with him to his apartment. I just couldn't resist his cuteness.

As we entered the living room Caleb pulled me towars him nuzzling at my neck.

"You are looking so hot Angel". He said trailing kisses on my neck.

"Caleb". I moaned. Our eyes connected as his name left my mouth. He lifted me in his arms moving towards his room. Just like that we spent another passionate night together.

When I got up in the morning Caleb was not present beside me. There was a note on the night stand I took it and read

"I went to office as I can't take another day off. You were sleeping so peacefully so I didn't wake you up. I prepared breakfast for you. Have it and don't forget to lock the apartment when you went out".

A smile came to my face as I read his note. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I got ready and went out to have the breakfast which he made for me. There are pancakes and scrambled eggs. I took a bite and woah. He is an amazing cook. After having breakfast I decided to bake a cake for him. I searched for the ingredients and started baking. After decorating it I kept it in the fridge and went out grabbing my bag and phone. I didn't forget to lock his apartment on my way out.
