Lost Love

Chapter 21

I am standing in Caleb's room hugging him.
I still can't believe that he loves me back. We both got startled when we heard a shattering noise.

"What was that"? I said

"Let me check". Caleb said and went outside the room. I followed him downstairs and saw Isabelle and Ryan making out in the living room.

"Shit". I said and turned around. I don't want to witness such things. I think they both heard that.

"You can turn around Em". Ryan said.

"Don't forget Ryan you guys are not alone". And she is still my baby sister".Caleb said.

"Emily, sorry about the vase". Isabelle said shyly. Her face is flushed.

Michael and Sophie entered the house. They looked at us in confusion then Michael asked " what's happening guys"?

"They got interrupted in their make out session by me and Caleb". I said holding back my laugh. Michael and Sophie started laughing while Ryan and Isabelle are looking embarrassed.

Before anyone could say anything mom and dad entered along with Uncle Adam and Aunt Olivia.

"Where were you guys"? I asked

"We went out for lunch". Mom said as they got settled.

"How was your shopping"? Aunt Olivia asked to all of us.

She got different answers in return " good, awesome, great" to which she just nodded.

"I'll will take a nap". Isabelle said getting up and dragging me and Sophie along with her.

Now we are sitting on the bed and listening to each other's stories. Well I am just listening to them.

"Ryan is so romantic. It's looking like I am leaving my dream". Isabelle said happily.

"I too feel the same. Spending time with Michael is just like a beautiful dream". Sophie said.

"It's reality guys. You guys are living it. I am so happy for you guys". I said as I hugged both of them together.

"Oh god. Emily you are killing me with your hug". Isabelle said slightly pushing me.

"You will also find your love Em". Sophie said as I move apart from them.

"Ofcourse she will". Isabelle said with a bright smile.

I just nodded because I can't say I have already found my love. I didn't discussed with Caleb about it. First I need to ask him about us. Then only I can share with them.
We were busy in talking when mom called us for dinner. Everyone was seated on the dining table except Sophie, Isabelle and me. I was going to sit beside Michael when Caleb gestured me with his eyes to sit beside him. I smiled and went towards him.
Then we started our dinner.

I took a spoonful of risotto in my mouth and moaned in delight. It is so delicious. Caleb started coughing beside me. I kept my spoon and faced him.

"What happened? Are you alright"? I said as I patted his back.

"Are you okay Caleb"? Aunt olivia asked him.

"I am fine". He said as he drank some water. We all concentrated on our food again then  Caleb whispered in my ear
"Dont make such noises Angel". Making me blush. I looked down trying to cover my face with my hairs but Michael saw me as he asked "kiddo. Why your face is so red"?

I looked up and said "Maybe because of the weather". He just said "Hmmm".

After dinner we all sat in the living room enjoying some family time. We were in talking when Caleb got a call and he went in one of the rooms to attend it. After 10 minutes he came back with a serious expression.

"Dad". He called uncle.

"Yes?" Uncle Adam said giving him his full attention.

"I need to go back to New York tomorrow". Caleb said.

"Why? All of a sudden? Is everything alright?" Uncle asked.

"Yes dad. Everything is fine. It's just that there is an important meeting day after tomorrow". Caleb told his father.

"Is it really important Caleb"? Aunt Olivia asked.

"Yes mom. It's really very important. I am working on it since six months. I can't miss the chance now". Caleb said.

"Ofcourse you should go then". Dad said to him.

"I think We all should leave with him tomorrow". Mom said.

"No. You guys can stay and enjoy". Caleb said to her.

"It doesn't matter as were leaving for New York day after tomorrow. We will leave tomorrow". Uncle Adam said.

"Everyone pack your bags and be ready it will be early morning flight". Dad said as they all got up and went to their rooms.

Isabelle and Sophie said they will help Ryan and Michael in their packing and went to their rooms leaving me alone in our room. I finished my packing and sat down on bed. I should help Caleb I thought and went towards his room. I knocked his room and waited for him to open the door.
As I entered the room I realized Caleb is shirtless. His hairs are wet that means he just took a shower. I can't help but stared at him. He watched my reaction as he said with a smirk "you can stare at me as much you like but you know I have to complete my packing".

I blushed looking down at the floor. Caleb came towards me and said "you look more beautiful when you blush".

"Put on a shirt. I came here to help you in packing". I said covering my face with my hands.

He chuckled at my behaviour and wore a sweatshirt. Then I helped him in packing.

"I should go to sleep now". I said getting up from the bed.

"Yeah. Its an early flight". Caleb said.

"Goodnight". I said as I kissed him on his cheek. He stiffened at my touch. I giggled and ran out of the room.

I came to my room. Isabelle and Sophie are not back yet. I don't think they will be back soon. I fall on bed thinking about him.
