Lost Love

Chapter 18

I can't describe how ecstatic I feel right now. After so many years I met the person I missed so much. I met my childhood best friend. Wait, that means I started liking my best friend. Oh my god. I can't tell anyone that I like Caleb. What if he doesn't see me in that way. I can't lose his friendship again.
After dinner, everyone went to their respective rooms but I was unable to sleep so here I am sitting in the garden area staring at the stars and thinking about him.

"Can't sleep"? Came a familiar voice behind me.

"No". I said in a low voice.

"Why? Everything okay"? Caleb said sitting beside me.

"Yes. Everything is fine". I said.

"Can I ask you a question"? Caleb asked and I just nodded.

"Why did you reacted like that when you thought you lost my picture"? He asked looking at me.

"You are my first best friend Caleb. I remembered you every single day. That's the only picture I have of you which reminded of our beautiful childhood". I said looking at the sky.

"That's why I kept that keychain close to me. It's like we don't need to describe how we missed each other". He said looking up.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was unable to sleep then I saw you sitting alone here. So I came here". He said.

"Tell something about you?" I said.

"What do you want to know"? He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Anything. I just want to know my big bear". I said smiling a little.

"Ofcourse Angel". He said with a bright smile.

"What about I ask a question, we both answers then you ask a question we both answer. This way we will know about each other". Caleb said.

"What is your favourite colour?" Mine is blue and white". I said

"I like Black colour". What do you like except cooking and reading"? He asked.

"I like to travel and explore new places". I said and waited for him to answer.

"I too like travelling". He said.

"My turn. What are you afraid of ? For me, it's being alone. That's why Michael comes to stay with me whenever mom and dad are not home". I said.

"I am not afraid of anything". He said with a smug expression. I just rolled my eyes.

Like that we spend 4 hours talking and laughing together. He is not the rude Caleb Williams in front of me he is just my big bear.

"Good night". I said and went towards my room.

Soon the morning came and like yesterday Isabelle and Sophie are already up disturbing my beauty sleep. I got up and got ready for the day. As soon as I came down Isabelle and Sophie are sitting with dull expressions on their faces while Everyone is eating their breakfast.

"What happened to you guys"? I asked sitting beside Isabelle.

"It's raining today that means we can't go outside". Sophie said frowning a little.

"Seriously. It's raining". I said excitedly and was about to get up but mom stopped me saying
"Don't you dare move from that chair. Last time you fell ill because of playing in rain".

"You play in rain Em. I didn't knew you are such a child". Ryan said teasing me.

"I like rain and I don't mind being a child". I  said showing him weird face expressions to which everyone laughed.
