𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞

Chapter Eleven:)

Aoi walked up ahead entering one of the recovery rooms. I entered the room soon after her, the room was filled with chaos. Aoi was yelling at a yellow-haired boy to drink his medicine, the yellow-haired boy was complaining, saying it tastes disgusting. 

I stood there in the door frame with a deadpanned expression. Aoi let out a loud sigh, she looked over at me gesturing me to take the cup filled with medicine. 

I took the cup and smelt the liquids in the cup 'this smells' I thought to myself "make him drink it, he needs to drink his medicine" Aoi spoke out in an exasperated voice "what's it for" I asked the exasperated girl. 

She was about to start talking only to be cut off by the yellow-haired boy laying in one of the beds "It's for my limbs, I was almost turned into a spider!" the yellow hair boy wailed "Aoi is so mean to me!" he continued.

 I blinked at the boy a few times looking over to Aoi blinking at her a few times as well.

 Aoi and the yellow-haired boy both gave me confused expressions. I looked back over to the yellow-haired boy "Aoi isn't mean" I said in a blank voice, the yellow-haired boy's facial expression changed from confused to shocked. 

"Yes, she is, she's awful!" the yellow-haired boy began to wail again.

"Well have you thought about the way your acting right now!" I yelled at the boy. We argued with each other for some time, our arguing soon came to an end when a familiar red-haired boy entered the room on the back of Goto, one of the kakushi.

 "Tanjiroo!" Zenitsu wailed rubbing his snot on the Goto's uniform top 'that's the boy that Kanao trampled last night' I thought to myself examining the boy.

 "You went up the mountain?!" Tanjiro exclaimed examining Zenitsu.

 "Zenitsu" Tanjiro spoke up giving the boy a concerned look "Did you get smaller?" he asked staring at the yellow-haired male "Yeah, Tanjiro it was awful I was almost turned into a spider!" 

Zenitsu wailed once again backing off Goto. Goto gave Zenitsu a look of disgust and a sigh of relief. 

"Where's Inosuke?" Tanjiro asked Zenitsu with concern "Oh Inosuke is over there" Zenitsu replied gesturing to the bed beside him. 

"Inosuke!" Tanjiro spoke up with a loud sigh of relief, getting off Goto's back and crawling halfway over Zenitsu's bed.

 "Inosuke, I'm sorry I didn't come back to protect you," Tanjiro said in a sympathetic voice "It's okay" Inosuke replied in a raspy voice. Tanjiro gave Inosuke a look of concern "what happened to your voice Inosuke?"

 Tanjiro asked with the look of concern still on his face "his throat was crushed by a demon" Zenitsu spoke up. Aoi, Goto and I decided to take our leave, we left the room closing the door behind us. 

"That was tiring" I spoke up slightly slouching my shoulders both Goto and Aoi nodded in agreement. 

Aoi took a handkerchief out of her pocket handing it to Goto, he thanked her proceeding to wipe the boogers left on his shirt. We all separated Aoi and Goto went to help other patients and I went to see Genya.

 'Those three boys are very tiring' I thought to myself looking down at the floor as I walked down the hall, only to bump into someone's chest. 

I looked up to see Genya looking down at me his face slowly turning red "Ah I was looking for you" I spoke up looking up at him noticing his red face "Oh sorry" I said giving him a small smile taking a step back. 

We walked around the estate talking about past experiences and missions. Our peace soon came to an end when his crow came by telling him the stone pillar was requesting for him, and so Genya left going to his master's aid.

 After Genya left, I went to find Aoi, I found her walking down the infirmary hall holding two patient leftover food trays. 

"Hey, Aoi!" I called out running over to her, she turned her head and waited for me to catch up. "I can take one of those" I spoke up gesturing to the empty food trays "thank you Y/n" she smiled at me handing me a tray. 

"How was your time with Genya?" Aoi asked giving me a large smile "It was fun" I replied matching her smile. "You seem very excited when Genya's around," Aoi said with a smile plastered on her face. 

I stopped staring at her back feeling my cheeks become a rosy, red "I act the same" I spoke up "Y/n your blushing" Aoi said as she continued walking not looking back, slightly feeling proud of herself.

 "No, I'm not" I mumbled under my breath "I should tell Shinobu-san about this" Aoi said in a teasing manner "No, she'll never let it go!" I screeched chasing after Aoi.

Shinobu heard the whole conversation, Aoi and Y/n had the conversation outside of her office. Just as Y/n predicted Shinobu did not let it go in fact she began teasing her about it. Y/n claimed her cheeks were red because she was not feeling well, but Shinobu didn't buy it.
